Really NAS hasn't come up? ..big fan of him. Drake released a new album "Views" (or Views from the 6), still giving it a listen but I like it so far. I also appreciate what J. Cole is doing.
I like most rap/r&b, but I listen to pretty much all types of music. Preference towards calming/mellow tunes. (=

Agreed. Modern rap really doesn't cut it for me. Haven't heard anything recently that was anywhere near as good as the classics.
Having said that I am probably out of touch as I stopped listening to a lot of these plebs and clowns.
Some of these guys now really are dumb as f#ck and they make me want to hurt them.
