Fucked up and got 68000 backlinks:(

This is one the worst and most stupid thing that has ever happened to me. I registered an old domain and installed wordpress and didn't change the default username and password. Someone logged in with their system and build a few thousand pages and now I have 68000 shit links to my domain.

I guess it's useless now... Or does Google ignore this shitty links? How can I repair my mistake?

EDIT: Currently 51,000 of those links are deleted by their hosts.. so I guess I should wait until all of the spamlinks are gone?

I have seen this issue many times on this forum. I am starting to think that building a disavow robot might not be a bad idea. I use scrapebox to find the bad links before I disavow the links however. This might be complex to build into a single robot

How many ref domain out of 68k links? Use ahrefs to build the disavow list in seconds, then submit the list to GWT

Ive got around 260 referring domains now. Can I disavow specific domains? Or should I get all the links and then disavow them in GWT? I won't be so hard to create a bot for that

I'm not sure what you mean by deafult password.. you set a password each time you install wordpress.

OP's site was bruteforced (ie hacked) because they used the default admin username and a weak password. And to build links, no, you don't have to be able to log into WordPress

Did they build 68k new pages? If they did were they Chinese? If so, the first thing you should do is install a WP secruity plugin like Sucuri and make sure they did not add in backdoor access or anything. Once you can confirm that, you need to go through and slowly clean everything up.

If you have a back up (which you always should), your best bet is to delete evertying and restore from backup. You can then go in to Search Console and submit any reconsiderations.

OP, what is the current state of your website? How were you using it, was it built and being monetized or was it in the process? I assume you deleted all of the pages already. How many have been deleted as of right now?

Have you considered changing your URL structure?
