In this thread we're going to discuss and try to think up a name for the people who complain about people complaining. I find it a tedious attempt to drive discourse into their line of thinking. I'm sick of them thinking they're witty for pointing out you're complaining about people who complain about complaining, because they're the boring fucks who initiated the feedback loop in the first place! They're on every forum, sub-board and group, constantly trying to shut down anyone that thinks that anything lower than praise is a worthless contribution. They're a hopelessly repetitive bunch of pseudointellectuals who wrongly assume that the internet is split into sections of 'this is where you praise X' and are going to continue to be smug if there isn't a term for them rather than typing up a full disclaimer for how you're fully aware that they're going to point out how you're also complaining about complaining every single time you point it out.
Complaining is one half of a debate, just because you like something doesn't mean you can tell them to STFU and move on because they're being a negative nelly, if you find yourself typing that you should probably just go find something on google to confirm how you feel about a subject.
If you enjoy slating something you previously enjoyed but has recently been ruined, whether it be a TV series, website, film franchise etc. and are being told to shut up by someone who has most likely just joined the discussion because they enjoy the shitty version of what you once liked, this is the place to be.
They're the epitome of a large portion of the population that is too stupid to think and too smart to fuck up their postings enough to be spotted as an idiot, and they must be dealt with. BHW is one of the few places left with a large enough upper mantle of intellectuals to ward off these idiots, but the rest of the internet needs to be cleared up with a sweeping derogatory term to disable them at the start.
