Which domain to buy?

Hello,

I need a domain for my Amazon affiliate site. EMD is not available anymore. Should I go for a partly matched domain or an aged domain? I don't want to buy expensive domains, I just want to get a cheap and decent .com domain.

Also I'd like to know what I should consider if I want to compare domains? Is there a guide or something?

For an affiliate site, the most important is an user impression. Will he develop trust towards your site? Probably not if it's some ugly partly match combo. In this case, brandable unrelated name is much better.

If it's for something you want your visitors to engage in, find something unique, aged, & aged. Make sure you research the aged domain you intend to buy. Backlinks, previous content, etc.

That's a tough one. There are advantages to both - trust/experience vs speed in ranking. I would probably default to an aged domain, provided in hadn't been used for anything spammy.

Aged domains are your best bet to rank fast, but they will come at a higher price. I have seen affiliate sites with some good domains (mostly priced over $ 100 on auctions) rank without any you backlinks for ClickBank niches.
