Firstly I would like to thank @meathead1234 to encourage me to take action. Because of his great method I made 4 sales in around 4 days.
I am here to help people who are struggling with there niche because other users in the forums are professional and know a lot about the product/niche. Tricking them is not a simple task. Same happened to me and I came up with my own way of dealing this situation. It is simple yet effective.
Step 1: Copy the question you want to answer. You can also rewrite it but not necessary.
Step 2: Create a new account on another forum and ask the question you copied in step 1 and wait for some professional to answer it.
Step 3: Copy his answer. Again rewrite it if you want.
Step 4: You know what to do now
Trust me it works like a charm. I hope I will help some people. Please excuse my english.

How are you guys putting your amazon link on your website. What I mean by that is are you putting the full picture from Amazon on your page or "this is the mattress I recommend click here" or what.

So i decided to go for a niche the GF knows a lot about and she has written 2000 words of content so far. I am going to sift through it and insert relevant keywords here and there. I have a few questions to ask as i am struggling with keywords etc.
Lets say my niche was clothes, which is quite a broad niche i think. Would the keywords be something along the lines of "Best clothes to buy" or "Cheapest clothes" ?
If so how to do i find better ranking keywords ? what software or applications does one use to make use of more keywords that are not heavily used like "cheapest clothes". Also google trends only gives so much info and Semrush as meathead stated he uses needs the user to pay in order to use the facilities it offers. I tried downloading a copy of SEO powersuite, didnt work. Downloaded the trial version and it only shows one result out of all the ones it has found.
I will be adding content to the site tomorrow then registering on forums, what other sites could i use to promote the website, what other sites are your guys using ?

Update on my progress.
I have set my page up with a few review pages, contact, about, privacy, and started a blog on the site which now has 4 posts. Have been scouring for active forum. Tonnes in my niche that haven't seen activity in a few years. But I have managed to find a few good ones and have about 10 posts with links that have stuck. Have also created a twitter account and facebook page and have about 20 people actively following me. Hopefully can continue to build on that. I haven't got a sale yet but have had 30 clicks through to amazon so hopefully only a matter of time before some of them convert.
My site only just got indexed yesterday which has been a major headache to me as I have taken the correct steps for google to see it and like it. Now that it is finally indexed I should start to see a trickle of traffic for some of my keywords. Keeping on pluggin away with forum posts and gaining followers. I know that sales are just around the corner. Thanks again Meathead for giving me the motivation to get back into IM. Looking forward to your next post.

Under Wordpress > Settings > Reading, you will see it say 'Front Page Displays" and can select either ()your latest posts or ()A static page. Pick the static page option and then from the dropdown menu under that you can pick the full article that you want displayed on your homepage. Make sure that you scroll to the bottom and click the "Save Changes" button and you're all set.

Just activate/select that "Your latest posts" radio-button, and you will get 10 of your latest posts on your home page. See the following image and do likewise...
P.S.:
Also, don't show FULL articles on your home page. Just show excerpts. Your site might get slapped by google for duplicate content if you show full content on home page and also on the inner pages, although your inner pages have 100% unique content...

P.S.:
Also, don't show FULL articles on your home page. Just show excerpts. Your site might get slapped by google for duplicate content if you show full content on home page and also on the inner pages, although your inner pages have 100% unique content...
meathead clearly states in first post we should use our pillar article as a home page (static page), and nothing else there. Your post is in contradiction with that.

He didn't say anything about pulling up posts on a CUSTOM home page (where a WP website has a static special page or a "custom" designed page as its home page). Even if I tell him how to do it, he wouldn't be able to do it on his own imho. So I gave that above suggestion.

Hi ran into a slight problem. I am registered on the USA version of amazon as an associate or affiliate, i tried to log into the UK site because its where i live thinking i can access my associates account as normal. Well to cut a long story short, i cant log into the UK site as an associate because i am only registered in the us to be an Amazon associate. So when i eventually register on the UK site do i have to put both USA and UK links to products on the site ? I am guessing i would have to so i do not cut out certain audiences who do not want to order products from another country ?
Meathead mentioned a couple of pages ago, that you're targeting USA audience. Plus you're making a blog type environment and if you do something like this "Oh here's USA link and then there's UK link as well" that would be quite stupid.
