Many people might have read this before online and might have read pathetic posts from people asking how to earn 1-5$ online and some even begging for it so here is the solution for them and a relief for us I might add.

This browser named BRAVE developed by a former Mozilla CEO will have various modes as per their blog and the mode that is relevant for making money(there must be some obstacle to cash out) is ad-replacement mode

You have two choices: you can "donate" the funds to your favorite sites (this is the automated default); or you can transfer the funds to another Bitcoin wallet and spend them yourself. (NOW THE PART THAT STOPS YOU MAKING MUCH MY GUESS JUST PENNIES)
However, in order to take money out of the system, Anti-money laundering (AML) and Know your customer (KYC) regulations require that Brave Software verifies your identity. If you choose to verify your identity, then you'll need to demonstrate control of a phone number and an email address. Even so, there will be no way for Brave Software to correlate your browsing history with payments to your wallet.


SO BHWers what are your thoughts about this?
I think its quite a good idea for the owner - lure the common for pennies for a big share of their own.

17 members of the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) have sent a cease and desist letter to Brave Software and its founder, former Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich, over the company?s self-titled ad-blocking browser.

They have already rolled out the developer version but the monetization aspect hasn't started yet.

Eyeo owned Ad Block Plus have been sued 5 times in Europe and won everytime so may be Brave might hold on too.
But they are based in USA so lets see.

yup they already ran in troubles with NAA

Brave is not, as the NAA asserts, ?replac[ing] publishers' ads on the publishers' own websites and mobile applications with Brave's own advertising.? We do not tamper with any first-party publisher content, including native ads that do not use third-party tracking.
Brave is not trying to steal the ?profits? from publishers as the NAA asserts. Here again, the NAA has fundamentally misconstrued what Brave does. Brave is building a better ad network with a bespoke browser tied anonymously to the network. We will actually pay the publishers more of the revenue shared through our system than most websites are getting now from third-party ads.


IN MY OPINION they are making an adware of their own by trying to find loopholes.

na this is too big to go unnoticed for a scam just make a google search. It has a ex Mozilla CEO behind the gears Brendan Eich.
