Need to hire a virtual assistant but afraid they'll steal my method

So I've made a few thousand bucks now doing CPA offers on social media and want to hire someone else to do the mundane day-to-day work. The problem is if I were to hire someone and give them access to my exact method and my custom software there'd be nothing stopping them from cutting out the middle man (me) and promoting their own CPA offers.

Is there anyway to keep myself safe? I'm thinking I should go to freelancer and hire someone who would be concerned with reviews rather than a random dude here.

I'm a college student working from home. Are you just suggesting to work with someone IRL? I don't have any friends that'd be interested in it, so if I did I'd again be dealing with a random guy from craigslist or something.

Your method needs to be shared with nobody. Save your method for yourself. After breaking down how to do it and how it should be done, than after they see what you make. Its over! Just don't share knowledge with others. If you believe the VA would honestly not steal your method, than go ahead and try it, but first let's figure out how to automate what you do, and if you can't than go over with yourself if this is 100% worth it. You claim you don't want someone to take your method. I would do it myself for awhile before getting back to the "wanting to outsource". This is your secret money method. Don't share it! It has value, and with that, if anything, write up a guide and sell it to people for a lot.

If I could automate this I totally would keep it to myself. Think I might take a few more days at least to see if I can do it. I tend to have a bad habit of trusting people too much...

You said you made a few couple of $$.. So you can still make more and see if your "method" will bring more cash on autopilot basis. Then you may look for an assistant .

Break down the method to parts and only have them do certain things that are not linked together. IE Secret Recipes in a kitchen.

I can work on the same ...my simple question what's the hard if some one makes money ...after all ur helping some one pay less and get the work done ... we can work on dedicated staff working 8 hrs per day 26 days $249 per month basis

There's always that possibility when you hire someone to do the job. Compensate freelancers fairly and they will play nice.

Well I don't know what your method exactly is but can't you like outsource only parts of the method? Instead making someone do the full thing, just pay them less and make a few people do little things you know? This way you'll have some more free time on your hands and you're not selling the whole idea to a random person

The issue with divvying up the tasks is that for basically everything they'd have to know the username and password of the accounts. If they log in and look around enough it'd be pretty easy to piece together how to do it on their own.

Its a custom coded software... make it password protected and unlock it via teamview every day before they start.

Anyway, my suggestion is to hire someone within your own country (so you can sue their asses more easily) and have them sign whatever type of non-compete is legit in your country.

Don't hire just any random POS who charges the least amount. Hire a professional with some history at a good rate. If you hire someone who makes good money and VA work is their livelihood, you probably won't have any problems.

You're chancing it then. How much time do you need from a VA? If you hired a VA in the US that signed a non-compete, if you're not making much money than it won't be worth it to them if this is their livelihood. If you hire them for a few hours a week, it's probably not worth it to steal your method. If you're only making a grand or two a month, it's not going to be worth it for a VA that's making a few thousand dollars a month or more if they are a business. Bad reputations kill providers, so it's not worth stealing people's methods. It's not worth the loss in reputation and the possible lawsuit.

Hiring someone from some third world would be a bigger chance, because a grand or two to them is a lot of money. So yeah, you could save money hiring some schmoe for $5/hour but there is a greater risk that they will steal the idea because it's a lot of money to them and they know you can't do anything if they steal your method.

If you think your method is valuable, I wouldn't hire some third worlder for cheap. A third worlder might only charge you $50 for the week for 10 hours but it's not that much more to hire someone for $200 for the week if you are really making bank. And you have more peace of mind.

If that method is really that important to you, then maybe find a person that is related to you, or a friend.
A person that you see on a day to day basis and a person that you can trust.

a VA in this case isn't the best choice if you want to keep a secret recipe.
