So I've deviated from the method slightly and I realise that I do this at my own risk and that it may adversely affect my success. However, I can say with certainty that due to Meathead offering this method, I have gone further, and have much more confidence in my website, than any other method I have tried. So thanks for that Meathead
Where I have differed, is that I am building a static website with pages as opposed to posts. I intend to grow this as an authority site over time and will continue to add to it weekly. Although it is not a review site, I will be adding some product reviews along the way. I intend the site to be informative and rewarding for the visitor in a hope that they feel confident enough to click through on a link.
Steps taken so far:
1. Keyword domain name and hosting
2. Wordpress website with 6 page catagories covering many aspects of my niche from FAQ's, reviews, how to advice etc.
3. On page yeost seo optimised as well as possible using natural original content.
4. Fake persona created
4. Facebook page, twitter and pinterest accounts up and content added
5. Four niche specific forums joined and actively posting (although not added any links yet)
I'm not sure how I drifted off course, but I'm looking at this as a longer term project that I will take time and care to build and then fully intend on starting another site following Meatheads method TO THE LETTER lol.
I hope before too long I can come back and say that I have netted a sale or two, but in the meantime I once again wish to thank Meathead for doing this and spurring me into action that I know I wouldn't have otherwise taken.
Looking forward to the rest of the method.
