Haven't tried any in particular so I can't recommend.
I recommend Thrive because I know it converts well and is super flexible and easy to use. Thrive Content Builder also works with other themes and that's great for making the "pillar article".

Is unique content really required for this method? Considering that I donot want to focus on SEO at all... What if I just copy reviews from another site?

Alright so after I reported my problem with forums, I have thought of a solution.
I was going through my list of forums again and I saw that the first three that I have posted on are super targeted and not too much traffic. Which makes those forums quite useless. They basically had no newbie questions and almost everyone was an expert.
I then found 3-4 forums from my list where I can see that newbies are asking questions which will make it easier to answer. Also one forum has some traffic and views in threads but not too many posts and updates. This will be good for QandA type thread from my side. For around 3 days I am going to solely focus on these forums and try to get 20 posts on each. Once I have that I will post my link where I think they will be seen the most. All in all at first I am going to give these 5 a try.
Secondly I am also building my social media profiles.
Pinterest - I reached 30 followers but got banned. I think its because I registered a personal account and were promoting my website. So I will try it again but with business account.
Twitter - After manually following 700 people I have about 30-40 followers. My goal is to reach around 100-150 for an ulterior motive other then traffic.
Instagram - This account is on automatic with instagress and has reached 150 followers in 2 days. This account and pinterest will be used for traffic.
Twitter will be used to get guest posts, I have seen that with some social media backing it is much easier to get guest posts when you tell them you will be sharing it with your audience too. So the sole purpose of twitter account will be to help me get good guest posts.
The Plan
By tuesday - wednesday I should have decent amount of social media followers along with atleast 5 forum links live. Once the links are live well and good I will then also simultaneously start looking for guest post opportunities along with more forums. I will update more soon.
I am just worried that I might be over complicating this? But I have 10-12 hours daily to give to this, working hard only on this to make it work so maybe I can do it. Any suggestions?

Yes use unique content. SEO is not the focus of this method, but long term, if you follow it properly you should get plenty of organic traffic. It's just not the initial focus.

Google string:
for example:
shoes forum views OR replies 10000..100000
Instead of [shoes forum], use your nich/subniche string, for example [dog food] or [dog health], and play with the given numbers. Mind you, a huge number will alert Google and it will stop you from searching for a long time -- it will put up a captcha instantly, so reduce the higher number -- reduce the 100000 to about 35000 in the above case -- it will still solve your purpose of finding some forum which already has huge number of views to a thread, or huge number of posts inside a thread indicating that the forum size is large, and of course, the traffic to that forum should also be huge obviously (unless of course it is a closed or a now-dead forum).
Btw, CAPTCHA is an acronym for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart"

I've looked at 22 different niches now and every single 1 I can find an amazon affiliate site already set up with a strong foothold in google rankings i.e top 10. Would I be wasting my time trying to take these sites on? Or could I have my own site? Surely SEO would come into it at some point if I was to over take these sites. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

IMO, if you can go still deeper (longtail kws) into your niche, and find a few good buyers keywords with more than 500 or so searches pm, then you may still score over those sites (by bypassing their strong foothold in other related KWs). I attack even 320 monthly searches if the KWs are really good...

I started following this guide a few weeks ago. My guide is roughly 10,000 words (1x3000 word home page, with 6 other 1000 articles). I've been posting in forums that are related to my niche and I would be creating threads and asking specific niche related questions and reference the guide at the end of the post. I go to check out my amazon associate account this morning and I notice i made my first sale! Beyond thankful meathead! To those who have any shred of doubt, it works, you just gotta be consistent. I have one question though:
Should I be making my amazon affiliate links "no follow"? Read something somewhere that i should be but im unsure.

Do you happen to know if theirs any plugin that can automatically scan your site and make affiliate links no follow without having to manually add/create links like pretty linker?
Edit: Found a plugin that does it automatically I think. The plugin is called "WP No External Links". How do i check and see if my affiliate links are no follow?

If using google chrome can install the nofollow extension and use that to check your links.

I use that plugin and install seoquake add-on on my chrome browser, all no follow link will be strikethrough.
