And if the company that owns the trademark allows you to use it for non commercial
informational websites

And the exact match keyword domain gets over 300K searches a month in just the US

How would you best use it while staying within their usage guidelines?

the plural version of the domain is being used as an e-commerce store but they have not gotten caught.

usage guidelines state that it can be used on a website name if you are using it for only information purposes and not for commercial use. further you must place a statement saying it is their trademark and that you do not represent them and are not affiliated with them.

Their brand is considered the most valuable in the world.

Stay away from it. Non-commercial use often means no advertising at all, so you couldn't monetize the site well. Sidenote: Just because you own "keyword.com" doesn't mean you will rank significantly well for "keyword". The raking advantage of keyword domains became really slim.

And what for? Is the domain aged, with backlinks etc? Other than that why go through any potential trouble for a $10 domain with no more value to it.

Don't touch it. Building it up and turning it into something will be a waste of time once you get a C&D email/letter or they go right to the registrar. It's not worth it.
