Help with auction/bidding website

After some research, I have come to the conclusion that my country has a very untapped auction/bidding market sites, (you know those auction websites where instead of a regular auction, you have a certain amount of prepaid bids where you can bid until the timer goes to zero) and I would be very interested in lauching one of these sites in my country, but I don't know the first thing about where to start, could I find one of these scripts for free? Could I make changes to it as in to limit the maximum bid and the countdown settings?

What I have in mind is a site like this, but with a few tweaks on the maximum bid and timer settings.

There are some free wordpress plugin for auction sites. You can also find a few open source php scripts. But if you are serious go with a premium script its more functional more secure. Sometimes its better to spend some.

the only way you will be successfull is if u have a capital u cant start with zero those free scripts are useless and will make u go crazy someday they are out dated full of malicious codes and back door and no gurantee its function 10% acuate hire a free lancer to code one or buy a script if u dont have money to invest your not ready do some offline gigs to earn and invest
