using tweepi follow -> getting my accounts suspended

i got multiple twitter accounts with 2 k followers but when i use tweepi to follow 20- 100 users ( as i did in the past) i suddenly get my accounts suspended

did twitter change their limits or is tweepi shit to follow users??
before i grew my test accounts with tweepi and never had issues. now i simply followed 60 ppl on a 800 account and bam! suspended.

Telling the truth, i have never used tweepi, but what's the delay between two follow actions? If it's unnaturally fast, that can be a problem.

But maybe Twitter started to dislike their service all together and if you authenticate your account with their app and you actually start to use it, you're getting suspended. It would be a little too extreme though.

Also is it a suspension as in a permanent account ban or just the password reset thingy? I'm just asking, because people sometimes mix these up.

How many accs do you use on the same proxy, what other things are there, which can link your accs? Same urls by any chance?
Where do you get your accs from?

I'm doing very aggressive following and in worst case scenario, the acc gets hit with a password reset request, but definitely not with a permanent suspension.

According to my experience, if you're clueless about the reason of a suspension and can't explain it with anything (like you weren't spamming), in that case most suspensions lead back to ip issues, such as too many accs created from the same ip address or too many accs are managed from the same ip address especially when it happens simultaneously.

- there are no waits between the follow action but i can max follow 20 ppl at once, as i did this a few month before but that was never an issue
-i dont run it on proxys sicne i did not log in to the account for a while and with tweepi i dont need to

I see, so after all it's a password reset via phone, not a suspension.

Also following 20 people at once isn't too natural, it's not really too many people to follow either, but it's definitely not natural. A few months is a long time in social media, a lot can change. So maybe it was ok before, but it's not anymore. But as i said, i don't use tweepi, so i can't say for sure, i just know that if you leave big enough delays, you can follow hundreds of people in a day without risking a password reset.

Anyway, i understand that you don't need a proxy when using tweepi, but when you authenticated the accs with the tweepi app, have you used a proxy, if yes, how many accs were you using under the same proxy?

If you want to pinpoint the reason, what you can do is leave tweepi alone and run a test: follow manually or with a bot and see what happens. If the same shit happens with these accs too, then it's not tweepi, but the accs themselves or the ips. If it doesn't happen, then the culprit is tweepi.

i tested on my pc with a bot and 15 - 30 sec follow break, seams to that "follow 20 ppl at once" is the problem.

Happened to me also using tweepi. Added and verified a phone number and twitter has stopped bitching.

well i got the "password via phone" reset before and then i continued with tweepi but got another password reset. i guess i was following to agressiv via tweepi
