Been thinking about making a PBN

Are these metrics alright for a PBN?


Pretty sure it was a french site as most of the backlinks leads to french sites.

I personally would not use it as the TF is too low and ratio to CF too high. If you do decide its good for you i would also check its archive.org history. Also translate the french anchor text to make sure its not porn or spam links.

I checked the archives and it seems the site was used as a PBN of some sought.. There are 80+ pages of text and links to different domains about home improvements.

Most of the backlinks are from blog posts on some good PA sites and some forum posts.

Is this still worthy?

I would go for TF of 18+ you should also double confirm the metrics in opensiteexplorer and make sure the DA is above 30+

One thing to watch out for with Majestic is that often the home page URL can have much better metrics than the root domain, also if the domain is expired it no longer has a htaccess rule redirecting the non-www to the www version of the domain, so one version can have very different metrics to the other. I don't actually know which you should be looking at, the root domain or the home page, I guess it depends where you're planning on having the link.

Looks good to me, I'd take it (that's if archive.org is clean, anchors as well, and the backlinks look natural).

Dont want to start a thread but this relates. When building a PBN, should you be using a proxy to hide your IP? I'm in the beginning stages of building my network. Right now i have 15 domains registered between godaddy, hover and name cheap. I plan on hosting each domain with a different $1 host. Did i screw up already by not using a proxy when registering the domains?

no you don't .. it's not like google is in bed with godaddy and log ips.

i am very cautious though and only use epic privacy browser to login to pbns and change stuff... there are trackers out there that need blocking whilist you browse

If it was used as a PBN in the past I would avoid it and focus on domains with at least a 15 TF and CF and that was never used on a PBN

If you decide to use it I would really do my homework on the backlinks

Try to buy TF and CF above - 18+. its good for a PBN.

Nope. It means it was used as a PBN in the past. Drop it.

The TF might be a little low but I think its more important to know how relevant the domain is to your niche as well, if its relevant I think you can excuse the low TF. But since you mentioned it was used as a PBN before it might be a little risky and the site may take longer to index or may be penalized.

Steer clear on this kind of domains because it was used as PBN before and the CF is too high than the TF.
