My custom theme puts the disclaimer at the bottom of every page in a little offcolor text, but it is readable. I've also created a separate page for Disclaimer showing the same text.
I've added some more text about my site being COPPA compliant.... It just says that the site is strictly not to be used by children aged 13 years or less. Still, looking to change it to sound more professional regarding site being COPPA compliant. Have read somewhere that Amazon has banned some affiliate sites which had not displayed COPPA compliance text on those sites. Will find a reference link and add it to this thread... I've put too much efforts in my aff site and don't want something like that to happen ever.

I wish I could do this but with affiliate links being banned in Missouri where I live (some tax dispute) I'm not able to do ANYTHING related to affiliates..
Maybe if I designed the product myself and sorted out manufacturing and everything... then I could reap more money than just a affiliate profit.

He's just saying you review the product and you're using a affiliate link so you get money every time they click or buy the product.. You don't want to look commerical or have a "good me your money" vibe so he suggest a blog and even laid back type, giving honest review. Then you direct traffic to the site using SEO research etc.

Let me try to help you out here and save others a lot of their precious time. KEEP READING! Read the entire thread please, then post something relevant. This method is being given in phases so you will need to wait patiently for the "what's next". There is time (a few days/week) between each phase being added by Meathead as he has other real-world business obligations that he needs to attend to. Until he is done publishing all phases, then the method will appear incomplete to you.
In between page 1 and page 14, there has been a lot of discussion with question and answer. Again, please read all of this information. Then, maybe you will better understand. If you are still unsure or not able to follow the various phases that are being offered, then maybe this method is not for you.
I did read the entire post, summery:

*Open blog (simple and not "business" or "making money" style
*Put your Amazon, presell it with some kind of story

"Method" is all about how you generate traffic in a profitable way. What if in the next step he will tell you to buy ads from blogs or Google Adsense? Or spam Reddit with your links or some other kind of that shit, will you still call it a "Method"?
You've been on this website for 6 years and you think Meatheads method is going to be Google Adsense? Wow... Just wow.
I didn't say it will but asked if you will still call it a method. And how it's possible to call it a method without the traffic? What's the point?

You've had your 2 seconds of intense glory -- on the super highway. Now give way before someone reports you of purposefully degrading/insulting a good work by one of the most helpful guys around on BHW! 
What kind of an IMer are you who wants traffic before a site is created? lol. OP, the master of the class, is making it easy for newbies in IM field, so sit back and enjoy his class! Put up your questions after the lesson is over, and do not disturb others.
OP is still in the early stages (of teaching all about creating a successful Amazon affiliate website) imo. When he will come to the bridge (of traffic), he will cross it and will hold you by finger and let you learn how to cross it... Don't lose all the glory that you can now see in the sky by simply thinking of far-off lands. I am sure you will be brought there in a step by step manner, and then he will let you learn about it when you reach that destination.
Just like the babies do, do it you too!
And, it's not the quantity of years you spend learning on BHW, it's all about the quality... that turns a newbie into a learned wise person! IMO, OP is reducing that time for most of those who are following this thread. I hope he achieves 100% success in that, but unfortunately some won't allow that to happen.

I am sure the OP is a wise person and I wish him all the best in everything he will try, that's not the point. The point is that this thread went pretty viral, lot's of people has "hopes and dreams" thanks to that "method". It is important to understand that without traffic there is no money, and traffic is the main point of everything, including this method.
I don't mean too sound harsh or anything similar... just saying how I see it from my point of view. Good luck

Still harping the "no traffic" method? Why don't you understand that the "method" is still an ongoing process, and it is meant for newbies chiefly (read the OP). This is a sort of step by step approach, so coming to traffic points is still a bit ahead. Now stop more harping the same traffic tune. Either understand the point or get off this train, before someone gets irritated and blows the sirens on you. Please get THIS point of view...

The layout is suggested on the first post. It's a simple layout with a sidebar on the right, content on the left and a navigation bar at the top. Almost every theme has that style. Download one, don't have to pay, there are millions with that layout. If you don't like it, you can change it later.

Yeah, you need to but in the long run I was making more $$ with the localisation enabled (after doing various tests). For most of my sites, just .co.uk and .com. But if you have a site doing serious traffic, I would sign up to more.
