My publisher is not interested in any annoying popups, content lockers or similar. He actually got rid of all that in order to increase users retention and overall satisfaction.

I think he's suggesting that providing the successful information of one of your other promoters to this new promoter may potentially hurt your first guy, i.e. you are creating the competition for a guy who is your customer. That's perhaps a bit of questionable business strategy.
Not at all. There is no competition between my publishers...No way that my first guy gets hurt if I work with others...Actually, we have more than one publisher using our solution, and these publishers feel more at ease when they know that we work with some big names.. It's like if I wanted to share one of our references to show you guys that 1. our anti adblock solution is working fine and 2. it unlocks a great extra revenue.

Most people in IM have absolutely no creativity. Actually scratch that, most people in business have no creativity. They just look for what others are doing and blindly follow.
So when you discover something that works well, the last thing you want to do is broadcast it and let all the serfs copy your hard work!
This is our idea and our publishers are our clients. I'm not giving my source code, our Anti-adblock adnetwork platform took us more than a year to develop.
I'm actually inviting people who have high volume websites to subscribe to our plateform in order to monetize their adblocked inventory (which is currently not monetized...). Just like cpalead, crackrevenue or any other network. I don't want to share my company's name/website because people will take it as a spam...
