OK I had an account years ago and it got limited I created a new one in 2012 and today they decided to permanently limit my account. I can't do anything with it. I called and they said its because of my previous account, that was 4 years so I can't make another, I had it for 4 years why now remove it. Could be false and she doesn't know anything or what? What should I do? I need it for eBay.

You may have done something to link the accounts. It's not unheard of for them to ban linked accounts down the line when you do something to trigger their red flags.

But maybe you can call then up again and ask for a reconsideration. Also this is posted in the wrong forum.

All I can think of is my ebay account, it was banned from selling a year or 2 ago. I decided today to create a new one with completely new info EXCEPT my phone number. I didn't think anything would happen if I did since it's been 2 years and paypal is no longer paired with ebay. So could that be it?

yep paypal connects those dots in their system easily. if you're gonna go stealth make sure it's 100 percent.

This is starting to be the norm for Paypal just limiting accounts when ever they please just keep making more accounts in different names with different address's and then keep almost no funds in every account so if Paypal permanently limits you like they have in the past you dont lose much and you can just keep on making more and more accounts.

Buy or create some stealth accounts.
paypal is like that. You can never be careless with them.
don't keep too much moeny in your account.
When you get hit create a new account.

Was the new account under the same name as the old one with the credit card/Bank linked?

Yes same name, phone number but different bank info. BUT since my new paypal had the same name and phone why wouldn't they have caught me right then and there. 4 years they had to wait to do this. I don't get it and the new ebay I created only had the same phone number. How can that link the 2 accounts together?

My theory is they checked it before and didn't see anything but then when they checked the phone number linked to the ebay I just created, it linked 2 accounts with the same number but paypal is not liked with ebay anymore, can they still do that if this is the case?

My question is how can I use another paypal account with a new bank account number without them tracking me down?

ALL info must be new when creating another paypal account, exactly for this reason.

Yes, eBay and paypal still share data.

sure, just remember not to recycle anything next time
