About buying followers

I just started working on my IG page 4 weeks ago and was able to grow it to 1,600 followers since that. I don't have plans to monetize my page. All I want is as many followers as possible while maintaining a certain credibility (I don't want it to be obvious that I have bought followers). So I was thinking about buying a couple thousand followers and some questions arised:

1) Is there a best place to buy followers and how much should I expect to pay?
2) How exactly does buying followers work? I assume that I won't have 10k+ new followers overnight, right? That would be a bit too obvious.
3) How likely is it to get banned if you buy followers and how do I avoid getting banned?
4) What is a reasonable like-to-follower ratio for Instagram pages that are 50k-100k big? Right now, about 20-25% of my followers are liking my picture, i.e. most of my pictures have 300-400 likes. I feel like this is a very good ratio and that I could buy at least 10k followers and it would still look like a legit page (with 11,600 followers and 400 likes for my pics I would have a ratio of about 3%).
5) Is it a big disadvantage to buy followers and thus lower my like-to-follower ratio if I decide to monetize my page via sponsored posts one day? I am assuming that I can reach 20k-30k organically while keeping the ratio at at least 15% which would still be very good I think. I figure that potential sponsors would be much more intersted in working with me when my ratio is 15% instead of 1-3%.

1) There are several different places where you can buy followers. Check the Marketplace. Rates may diversify depending on the quality of the accounts that they use. Some panels are very cheap at around 1$/1k followers.

2) The delivery speed depends on who's administering the service, some deliver them very quickly and almost collectively, others provide followers at a set quantity per day. Sometimes it's specified in the description, if not, you should order them separately (for example a couple hundred every day).

3) It's rather unusual and rare to get banned because of fake followers, I've never seen it happen. Nevertheless, it's always recommended to play it safe: just don't buy too many altogether.

4) It depends on the niche, do some research about the engagement of similar but bigger accounts in your niche (you can use ink361 website to check it for free without the obligation to register). The engagement is usually in between 1-5%.

5) Yes, that's not a good idea, fake followers will not increase your engagement. Therefore, your account reach will be the same. Keeping a ratio of 15% is very unlikely to happen, it's easy to maintain a surprisingly high engagement in the beginning, but the ratio will go down as the account gets bigger and bigger.

Thank you for your fast reply. What would you say are the reasons for the decline of the like-to-follower ratio as the account gets bigger? The main reason for my high engagement at the moment is that almost every new follower likes my last 5-10 pictures. Some of them like all my pics. But not for the sake of follow4follow or like4like but because they are really intersted in my account. So as long as I keep growing my followerlist I should also be able to grow the likes of my pics and thus maintain engagment.

Until now, I haven't really found any other IG page that is in the exact same niche as I am. Sites who are in a similar niche but with a different demographic of their followers have ratios of less than 1%. The people who follow me have a very high interest in the things I post. That interest is mostly culturally driven, which is my biggest advantage.

I will try to reach 10k followers organically in the next 3 months (at the moment im growing with a rate of 100-120 new followers per 24h without using Boostgram, FollowLiker,etc.) and then decide if I should buy followers or not. Like I said, my motivation is not to monetize the page but to leverage my IG site for personal reasons and to do that, buying 10-20k of followers would help a lot. Btw.: Is there a way to get rid of the followers you bought?

I wouldn't recommend buying fake followers, there are people that can boost your page with real followers in the marketplace, although will cost you a bit more. Definitely more worth it though

Buying followers (max 1-2k) is good only for a fresh account, to make it more legit and increase the follow back ratio during the follow-unfollow process.

Now that instagram is changing away from chronological order, buying followers is a bad idea. Say you have 500 Likes and 50K fake followers, you are likely to not get your picture shown in many feeds, resulting in even lower engagement.

So yeah, it's a BAD idea to buy followers from now on.

For the things I want to use Instagram for, it doesn't really matter if my pictures are shown in many feeds or not. In the ideal scenario, I message, follow or like pictures of Instagram pages I want to get in touch with. Then they visit my site, see my photos with 500-1000 likes, my 50k followers and then either respond to my message or follow me back and then I message them. Like I said, my motivation behind all this is not to monetize. It is all for personal benefits. However, there is the possibility that I grow real big organically (the potential is there) and then want to monetize later on. In that case, buying followers is not a good idea. This is why I asked if it is possible to get rid of fake followers.

Another question: My IG account is connected to my personal FB page at the moment. Any way to cut that connection? When a facebook friend joins instagram, I don't want him to see that I am on Instagram as well. Sometimes people from my social circle follow me on IG because the app itself suggests it to them and I want to avoid that.
