Hi there,

I have a new project on the way, and I need to know how many of you own a website with an SSL Certificate?

I am not native English speaker sometimes this shit confuses why is it an SSL?

That's what I've been taught in school anyway. S is pronounced as "As" so it is "An SSL".

Edit: Here we study English based on UK English, so it might different than the American English

Here I was taught if it pronounced as vowel like An Hour

How the fuck did we go off topic after merely two replies?

Best Regards,
Jaymien.

Its a lounge anyway.

It seems that about 50% of the people have SSL Certificates. Was more than I expected it to be.

You shouldn't take the results of a poll with only eight people as evidence.

Wait for some more people to vote.

Jaymien.

That's more or less correct.

If a word begins in a vowel sound, it's "an". The letter "S" is pronounced "ess", which is a vowel sound.

It's a magical place...

Good point, though. Back on topic please, otherwise irrelevant posts will be deleted.

I use Cloudflare's SSL on a couple of my sites and a few of my client's sites, although I don't use it on every site I work on.
