[Method] Make $1000 a Month With Amazon - Newbie Friendly [Phase 5a Published!]

This is great been following it.
I woke up this morning thought the Easter Bunny brought phase 3.

thank you for sharing and helping us noobs who just got into IM money making...Got the domain and hosting looking forward to phase 3

got a domain sitting around and some hosting...

...count me in!

it's nice to be able to get in on an epic thread as it unfolds than reading a 30 page thread months later.

thanks dude!

Always a pleasure reading your educational post meathead! Look foward to the next phase!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to map this method out for us noobs.

Eagerly awaiting phase 3 to continue on this exciting journey.

Hi again, just wanted to come back with a couple of questions; First off, thank you for all the precious information and guides! Really appreciate that your're taking your own time and offer it for free to strangers!

My first question is, besides capital, are there any type of resources/skills that would be of high value with this particular method? For example, personally I'm a video content creator, doing a lot of 3D/Motion graphics and even real-world filming, I don't want to go into depth on that part. Will this specific skill be secondary?

Are any other marketing skills relevant?, by marketing I mean being capable of creating targeted campaigns from script to distribution over multiple networks. What a marketing firm would generally do.

I know the potential answers to my questions are probably broad, so, I'm happy with whatever short answer you have the time to give :)

Thank you again!

I'm keeping it beginner friendly but the ability to create videos can definitely help.

ok dude I am in

I picked a niche and a find a good domain name for it
main keyword : 12000 searches / monthly ----- U.S.
some good long-tails keywords with decent monthly searches

Products : more than 1000 are 4 stars and up
a couple of products have more than 1300 comments
prices : $20 to $750
best sellers are sold between $20 to $220

spot #1 for the main keyword is amazon / main keyword
the others spots : some big players with DA 27 to 97

when i use a product name all spots are taken by amazon

what do you think?
I go for it or I try another one?

Sounds perfect.

Thanks for the great share OP!

I'm very much interested in the version of this method where investment is involved ($1000+). Will you be sharing information openly in this thread, or you have some other plans? :)

I'll keep it beginner friendly and low budget to start. In most of the areas you can spend more though (e.g. content, design) if you have the budget.

I'm curious to see what is your plan to drive traffic? Will it be targeted traffic? Are you planning spending money on ads?

And of course, another great contribution to BHW community... Thanks

No ads, all free traffic.

Why would I sell my website after 12 months? Why not after 24 months, or 36?

I think, the first 12 months are the hardest - so when I reached a solid level (about 1000 $ month), I should sell it? If I did not have at least three other projects, that could fill the space, I would never sell a website after such a short time - I would think...

You can definitely keep it longer if you want. The friend I'm working with has $30,000 in debt to pay so selling at the end of 12 months will help him pay it all off.

Hi Meathead, Thanks for the effort youre willing to share this!

A question.. the hosting you suggest, I cant find if WordPress hosting is included. Can you confirm that?

Yes - they also have Wordpress specific hosting. I asked my friend to update the landing page so it goes there instead. Good spot!

Thanks for the share so far....... I have a question about the products in the Niche.

I have chosen a broad niche and have identified about 13 different products in the niche which i want to promote. As per your post you have said that there should be atleast 20 products and 50 reviews.

So if i have 13 products does it mean that each of those 13 products should have atleast 20 items and 50 reviews? Or is it enough if all the 13 products in the niche have 50 reviews and 20 products per item?

Just wanted some clarification.

Thanks once again

I was talking about the number of reviews they have on Amazon. If there's only 13 products in your niche that probably isn't enough.

Always a pleasure reading your educational post meathead! Look foward to the next phase!!!

Working on it now!

Really looking forward to the journey. Thanks for taking the timeout to share your knowledge; I?m now waiting on the next phase.

Will this work for everyone and everywhere? It's mean, Amazon is not very popular in some country so can you still do it?

Hello meathead1234

I have started a amazon affiliate website back in September 2015 (i let the site age on purpose). I have put up 45 articles with an average of 1500 words per article. On the backlinks side i have made just some small investments. A Press Release and just 1 single backlink from the tommy's outreach service.

These are my best rankings so far:

I am really interested into learning on a different approach on getting backlinks. I might be wrong but i think that soon there will be a day when web 2.0 will be less powerful and also PBN's will get hit eventually.

Looking forward on your take on getting traffic with phase 3.

Hey Meathead,

Looking forward to your phase 3 plans.. I have set up a new domain with siteground and found a easy niche to get started with. Honestly this will be my 3rd website so even if I make $300 - $500 per month I will be very happy. I am setting it up with ithemes which came free with siteground.. wondering if thats a good theme builder? Can't afford thrive at this point.

I have already used my experience of past two websites to do better niche research and keyword research. 4/5 products are sold on amazon from $20 to all the way in thousands. The one product is sold on different sites with affiliate program with decent commissions but easy keywords.

All my main keywords are 1000 searches or less as I want to get the low hanging fruits. Some are 1600 keywords which are slightly moderate but not as difficult as my first site keywords. In your experience how much time and money will it take to start seeing some results?

EDIT- After reading the 3rd phase I have a small question... is it really important to have a first page article? Can it just be normal posts listing etc?

Looks like I have some writing to do, thanks for Phase 3!

Just a quick question. I live in The Netherlands where Amazon is basically non-existant. Do you think it's worthwile to twist this method and create a Dutch website with affiliate links to 'our' Amazon?

currently working on phase 3!!!.. thanks for the detailed guide :)

No, use Amazon.com and create a US website.

So the 2000 word article goes on the home page? Doesn't that make it look bad for people visiting? Thanks.
