Ok guys. I recently had a little free time, so I decided to do an experiment for everyone here at BHW that comes and asks "how to make X amount of cash in X amount of time". So let's get right into it.
First off, before I go any further, just like anything else in internet marketing, if you don't do the work, then you won't make it. If you are saying you need $500 in 2 days or whatever, you had better be prepared to make it happen no matter what it takes. (I worked 15 hours straight for this experiment)Bottom line, if you're not prepared mentally to do what it takes, then you will fail. That's a simple fact.
OK. For this experiment, I put myself into the mindset of someone that really needed to make money now. My mindset was "I need $300 in my PayPal in 2 days or I'm dead. Absolutely no other alternative" Seriously. I needed to be make sure that I was desperate enough to make it happen. Once I was in this mind set I was ready.
I then brainstormed and came up with my battle plan. By far the easiest way to make money right away is to sell some type of information. There are tons of things you can sell, but I decided to go the route of a small report at Digital Point because my goal was $300 in sales. Ebooks will give you a better chance of making more money since they are longer and thus you can charge more. I decided to sell my report at $17, so it had to not only be good enough, but it had to be long enough. Plus DP has tons of hungry buyers, more than enough to make a few hundred bucks.
So after I decided what I was going to sell, I needed to decide to what to write my ebook on. Now this is where a lot of people will fail. They either pick the wrong topic to write on, or don't know what to write about. Remember, you are not writing the next $97 Clickbank best-seller, you are writing a small report to make your goal. That's it.
When you think of it that way, it's a lot easier to find something to write about. A great way to research is to go to the Warrior Forum and Digital Point forums and have a look around, especially the sections where people are selling stuff. Pay attention to what is getting a lot of views and a lot of comments. Also pay attention to what problems people are having and asking in the forums. And be sure you take notes. There's no reason you cannot find something to write about.
I decided to write an ebook to help the Clickbank newbies and/or struggling marketers selling Clickbank ebooks. There is way more than enough people in this little sub-niche to sell to. Remember, my goal was $300 in 2 days time. My report was going to be $17 so break that down and all I need was to make was 18 sales to clear my goal.
Next, I wrote my ebook. How? There's a couple ways to do this. You can look though any ebooks you own on the topic you chose and rewrite it in your own words. Just make sure you don't copy. If the topic you chose to write about is something that you're knowledgeable in, then even better. The main point is that you want to give people a solution to their problem(s).
I sat down and just wrote the whole ebook from start to finish. I then took a short break, and then I edited it. After that, I wrote the sales copy for my sales thread at DP. If you need inspiration, just take a look at sales threads that are getting a lot of views and comments, and model your sales copy after them. One point I will make note if is that at DP, screenshots will make your product sell even better. Also give a few review copies to reputable members there for a review.
That's it guys. From start to finish(research-sale launch) it took me about 15 hours. Like I said, you need to be prepared to put in the work. With that said, I launched on June 23rd at 427am(I worked all through the night), and currently I have over $500 in sales. At this rate, I will double my set goal very soon. After a short nap, I made sure I was online to answer any PMs and questions in my thread. This is important because it will keep your thread active and allow more people to see it.
The point of this thread was to let you know that if you really need to make money urgently, it is possible. You just need to set a battle plan, execute it, and then see it through all the way.
**NOTE** Selling ebooks on DP is not the only way to make quick cash, but is a great way to do it and one of my personal favs. There are many benefits to to this besides the quick cash factor:

- Copywriting experience
- You will have a product that you can always use later for many things like collecting emails, a bonus for product launches, etc
- You will build reputation(if you do it right)
- You can always beef the original up and re-sell as a WSO or even on Clickbank/PayDotCom if it's a hit.

Misc Tips:
- Timing your launch helps. There are tons of people that are trying to sell their stuff at DP, so if you launch your thread earlier in the day, it will disappear from page 1 pretty fast. Since I launched mine at a very ungodly hour, there wasn't much activity to bump my thread out of page 1. And when people woke up and came to DP, more eyes saw my thread since it was on page 1.
- Make sure you give some review copies and set a standard for those who qualify. I typically go with 1000+ posts and an iTrader of 15+. This way you will have people with a pretty good rep at the forum giving you a review.
- Do your research and really identify a problem. Don't just write about any old thing or you will get shut down at DP real fast. People are really picky there. But as long as you have good info, you can make some good money.
- Be online to answer any questions and PMs you get.
- Change your signature and link it to your sales thread, and then go out and make some posts in other active sections of the forum. This will bring more people to your sales thread.
- Use catchy titles for your sales thread and your signature.
- Post screenshots when you can. Proof factor goes over really well at DP.
