Viral Website : What is The Best From These Two Options ?

i decided to start a viral website and promote it on a big FB page but the problem is should i set a targeted niche for viral news or a general-viral website like viral nova and buzzfeed ? and why on both cases ?

If you stuck with the first option, videos or slideshow presentations included with crazy or spooky content would suit better to harness clicks in a specific area of virality.

If your traffic source is broad the second option would work better because of it opening to wider audiences.
