Withdrawing money from dead PP account - HELP

Hello!
I would send it to an alternate account through friends/family, make sure the account you send it to is your OWN, REAL account (or one with a bank account setup that you have access to) and withdraw it that way.

Buy a giftcard and then sell it at one of the websites where you can buy and sell giftcards.

Thank you for your suggestions, but my account is permanently limited. That means that I can't spend money from it online, nor can I send money to other Paypal accounts.

All I can do is update my account information, add a card (which are both useless), or add a bank account (which probably won't help because it will be under the wrong name).

Can I add a bank account that has an unmatched name, and make the withdrawal? Or would that fail?

In the US you can, because under law Paypal can't demand the name on the bank account, just the account number info. To compensate, PP sometimes asks for a mobile phone verification as well. Some bank accounts like BoA can be instantly attached to the Paypal account without a phone check, so starting a BoA or similar account (yours or someone else's) would be the simplest way to get to the PP money.

The OP from the UK might simply try to open an easy-to-get-approved for online UK account, such as Barclay's, and withdraw his PP funds to that if he can't do so through his current bank:
