Try stuffing it up your arse - but that defo would be too classy for cam sites.

Take it the post office, cash is, and by some heroin.

What's the difference between a Gyro and a Donor Kebab?

EDIT: One is from Greece, the other from Turkey?

Idk man. I don't know if I've even actually had a real gyro. I'm very used to eating the American versions of food. It took me 25 years to figure out Chinese food isn't supposed to be sweet and covered with sauce. One of my friends showed me how to cook authentic Chinese food and now I won't eat it in the streets anymore.

I shudder to think what would happen if I ate real Greek food. I'd probably boycott every place I ever went to on principle.

To be honest, I've never heard of "gyro" before.

So like a good boy I tried to use Google to increase my knowledge.

I found that Gyro and Kebab are not even the only ones, there's also Shawarma.

Thank you for confusing me even more.

By the way @OP you made me hungry, guess I'll have a Kebabgyroshawarma-thing.

Best Regards,
Jaymien.

I ate this often when I was in Greece. I think it's spelled Gyros, not Gyro.
But yeah, they're awesome.

ftr, gyros > kebab.

eta: wtf people. Where do you people live? We have authenticate whatever restaurants here cuz immigrants. Go to some hole in the wall restaurant in the city and you get some off the boat immigrant cooking the real thing. But then again, I don't live in the backwoods like a pleb.

I DO live in the backwoods and I would appreciate if you didn't call me a pleb. I happen to like watching deer run across my lawn every morning and having woodpeckers wake me up kthnx.

People lie and say they cook authentic food all the time. The place I ate at today claimed to make authentic Greek food. Worst. Gyro. Ever. I've had better eating out of a dirty hole in the wall in Chicago.

...Man I miss Chicago. ;_; The food was so good.

You have to go to the holes in the wall. Usually not in the greatest neighborhoods. Must be poor places with like 0 customer service and waitresses barely speak English. That's how you know.

You'll never find that in the backwoods. You need a city.

Probably because it was authentic... I loved Gyros from the local Greek... but when I had the first authentic Gyros, I couldn't even eat half of it because the meat wasn't lean enough (only fat meat), the seasoning was complete different and even the tzatziki didn't taste as I was used to.
Most of 'authentic' restaurants cater to the local taste not to the original but for a reason... if they wouldn't adopt, they would go out of business in no time.
