- Don't make your clips last longer than 15 seconds or else the Content ID will kick in.
- When uploading your video, set it to private
- Do NOT put any tags or descriptions and make garbled text as the title
- If necessary, edit your video to a point it's nothing like the original
- If after processing you are not flagged and you want to monetize the video, leave it as is for as long as possible (at least an hour) to mitigate the chances of having YT asking for proof of commercial rights. Then monetize.
- If after review you are clear to monetize, add your title, description, and tags and set the video to public
Even if you bypass all of this, you can still get flagged and even land a strike by the copyright owner through manual detection (meaning the owner actually watched that video and flagged it) even if the video is not for profit. So be very aware of what you are doing and what you are risking doing this.
