I recently just switched my followliker program to my mac.
i dont think its working correctly..
does followliker stop working when my mac is in sleep mode? because thats what it seems like.
do i need a VPS?
i have no clue what that even is. if someone could explain it would be a great help!!

Yes, it stops working when in sleep mode. I am also running FL on a Mac.

use caffeine for mac and keep your brightness to zero + manual posting

basically you can extend your sleep time of MAC because in it stops the running processing when goes to sleep.

If you can't keep your mac UP all the time then speed couple bucks monthly to rent a vps.

I think that there is a huge difference in using mac and others.
You have to read more about mac and followliker to get awareness about their working.
Read the guide of Followliker, you may find something useful for that.

I've been running FL on a mac for a while now, and also have FL set up via Windows on a VPS.
In most ways I prefer the mac version. I think it runs more smoothly and automatically updates itself. However, it does slow down/stop and when the macs sleeping, so I've decided to try running via a mac VPS from hostmyapple. Not sure if this is a good plan, but will see how it goes..

All the process go to sleep when you Mac goes to sleep mode. You need to change your settings system preferences ->Energy saver.

Oh, there's a Mac VPS? Have to check that out! Thanks for sharing! And yes, love the fact that FL automatically updates itself on a Mac.

MacOSX is not a server OS, why would you want to do that if not absolutely necessary? Rather run it on Debian (linux) if FL supports that, MacOSX is based on Linux after all.
I prefer massplanner though.
