Working on monetizing blog

Hello,

Just wondering which method if any I should use to get more traffic to my PPC gaming blog.. Buying traffic from a website like Web Traffic Geeks, buying Facebook ads or Adwords. I'm currently getting 3500 views a day and only at $5.68 so far this month. Any other ideas would be appreciated as well.

Do you have a link to your site? In my best experience, I have found writing quality articles people want to read is the best way to get more traffic to your website. Your mentioned methods only help you achieve that goal.

You are suggesting switching from Adsense and PropellerAds to Buy Sell Ads rather than using FB ads or Adwords, or buying traffic from WebTrafficGeeks? Buying links was also recommend to me. So many options I am not sure what to do!

Never experienced any benefits with buying traffic. Tried WTG and made no difference. Don't have experience of the other methods you mention but hopefully others who do will chip in.

Interesting.. How much traffic did you buy from WTG and over how many days did you spread it? I kind of just assumed it would work.. If my impressions went up 10,000 why wouldn't my revenue from ads go up, you know?

So I guess I am leaving this thread a little more confused than before.. If I were to spend $100 on FB ads, or google ads, or on traffic, or on links - would that be a good investment? What are the chances I would make that back from the ads on my website? All of this on top of posting quality content daily of course..I have applied to buysellads as well.

If you have some REAALY valuable content you can lock it with cpalead/gpagrip or whatever ads network. Also join as many FB groups as you can in your niche and post links there = free traffic

You should test as many paid traffic sources with as many creatives as you can afford and see which ones are giving you positive ROI. You stop the ones that are not making you money and invest more and optimize the ones that are working well. It will also be quite useful if you can determine how much is a new subscriber making you on average in the long run and always spend on ads that are getting you subscribers at a lower price than your estimated user value.

Be creative with your advertising and try all kinds of channels and platforms as long as you can afford the spending. Don't overlook media buying. When you find something that works well, burn and pillage it with as much advertising as you can afford.

I know this is not actually very specific advice but I truly believe this is the correct mindset to be successful in this.

I'd go with highly targeted Facebook ads, but you'll need to do some research on how to target.

Your gaming blog has to be...

1. Spark a reason to share with their friends on Facebook. Contests are overused and so are giveaways but if you are honest and will give out a prize and not just some stupid scam cpa email submit then you are golden.

2. Your production quality needs to be the best. BuzzFeed pours a lot of money into high cameras, witty scripts, and visually pleasing people and images. If your production quality is not on par with BuzzFeed it needs to be!

3. Your game blog can have legit walk throughs and reviews of games, but it needs to list all the pros and cons of the game, value of the game, etc. People don't want another idiotic IGN (ignorant bribe taking bastards).

Make quality long content and reach to Gaming forums,blogs etc to do Guest posts to share stuff and get more genuine traffic.

Try to do Twitch videos and link in it.
Youtube is best for gamer even they made RED for it.

But gaming niche is Low income so better to use direct ads buying by reaching to potential site owners for their ads to be placed OR use Buysellads but i have not seen much gaming related in their.
