Hey there!

I finally decided to monetize my instagram account by creating a Fiverr gig and selling shoutouts. My account has 20k followers and 9% engagement.
I created the gig one month ago, made a nice description, it looks pretty good. One week later i noticed my gig wasn't showing up in the search results. I contacted the support, their Trust & Safety team told me was gig was fine and they fixed the issue.
The same day i had someone contacting me about my gig (but he didn't order). Yesterday, i saw that my gig had 0 impressions for 2-3 weeks and well... it wasn't showing up in the search results again.
I contacted the support and they told me "Your gig has been reviewed by our Editorial team and the service you are providing is not in our Editorial team's focus and guidelines. Due to this, your gig has been removed from our search".

Wtf? A support member tell me my gig is fine and another tell me it's not. I contacted them again and they replied "Our Editorial and Moderation teams do not promote online marketing related gigs and those are not in their focus".
Why do i see some ig shoutouts gigs in the search results then? Some of them are there for months and the high ratings gigs are there for over a year (and they are crappy ig account with low engagement).
I'm disappointed because i grew this account manually and was expecting some money back with Fiverr. I made this account to sell shoutouts and i thought Fiverr was interesting.
So what do you think? Is it still possible to sell shoutouts on Fiverr? Any advices?

Thanks

Maybe you should try to create this gig once again but in a different category or subcategory. I have had the same problems but not with selling shoutouts

try to get few fake orders to start showing real orders. good to see you start taking action for monetizing your instagram.

Well Fiverr took down my gig because the bastards at Instagram contacted Fiverr to get my gig removed and just like that it's gone. All these shout out gigs but probably targeted me because just before the gig closure I was getting like 20 orders per day.

Fuck Instagram, Fuck Fiverr

It won't help because they manually disabled my gig showing up in search results. It's still showing up on my profile but well, it's useless.
I think i'll make a new one, change the title and category as skaabo suggested.

Thanks anyway.

It happened to me more than once.

Try to be as abstract as possible in your description, change category, and attempt to upload it again. It happened to me with some Instagram gigs, all I did was change things, and now those gigs are still up.

Best Regards,
Jaymien.
