Best way to escape a penalty?

So I used xrumer and my site got penalized by Google for spamming (disappeared from 1st page to out of first 10). I have bought a ton of quality pr3-5 links a bout a week ago, and it hasn't helped much. I'm thinking about adding some unique articles, but at this point, I'm not sure if it would be worth it. I was also thinking about starting the site over but in a new domain, since the site itself is only a few pages. Is there any good methods to recreate a site under a new domain, without a duplicate content penalty? Or should I just stick with my site and try adding more content? Thanks

andre09, I think you will be fine bud. I did a huge blast to a new domain and it totally disappeared from the first ten pages of results for 3 weeks. Then, all of a sudden, it was back at the #1 position.

I think you should take the time and make another site (with unique content) and start building it. If I am correct, then you will soon have two high ranking sites!

If you site is de-listed, unique content won't change anything.

Buy another domain and make it unique just to be safe, however I have yet to actually see a site be delisted for xrumer use and I use it daily. It can be doing a google dance, because google is trying to figure out where to place you. Don't give up and be patient. I think the results will surprise you.

Or do it right and setup about 10 domains on a tier system and funnel the backlinks down, so your "legit" site will rank high without any issues.

Thanks for the advice, it was very reassuring +Rep. I think I will continue to work on my site now Also, just curious, I was looking at a site that had a domain with keywords in the right phrase order, i.e keyword1keyword2keyword3.com, and it is ranking very high with almost no backlinks. If my domain is not of the exact phrase order, i.e, keyword2keyword1keywod3.com, would I have a big disadvantage over my competitor? Thanks
