Profit Edge and Their Products - Beware

As some of you are aware, Profit Edge are one of the vendors on Clickbank with a lot of high gravity products like Hair Loss Protocol, Weight Destroyer, Pound Melter, ED Protocol and so on. Many of you are familiar with these.

First off it started quite innocently. They decided, that all of their affiliates should be approved before promoting their products (on Clickbank). That was fine, but there were no notifications about this rule change, so me personally and some of you as well, realized this after some time and lost money. Then a few months later, some of their products were removed from CB for ToS breaking I presume and they moved to Software Project platform. Once again, no notification about this whatsoever and you had to reapply for their products once again. They also made a new rule, that you have to have at least 1 sale a week if I remember correctly. All went fine and then a few weeks back, they completely banned Email marketing and put into effect a new rule. You need to have at least 2 sales per day on average within a month, which is absolutely impossible with SEO and new websites. Again, NO notification at all about this and my links got deactivated just like that.

So basically what happens is. You get whitelisted, spend money on SEO, rank the site and then all of a sudden, your links get deactivated and you can go screw yourself. So unless you want to put money down the drain, I am warning you, about thinking twice whether you really want to promote these products. Many newbies can get screwed up here and we don't want that. If you want to promote these products, then that's up to you, but I am warning you. Many of you know me here and know that I wouldn't say anything negative about anyone unless I was convinced that the stuff they do is completely unjust. Make your own conclusion.

They are a scam.
I had promoting four products of their products on my website. I have checked my links now, all links broken except one!
The last sale I got one month ago, although I get a clicks daily !!

Wow that is ridiculous. I'm wondering how many affiliates have yet to realize that there is a problem since no notice was sent out. It isn't unusual for companies to change what marketing methods they find acceptable to avoid issues, but those quotas and lack of communication is insane. People who are new to IM have often have hard enough time finding a working method without wasting time building up a niche affiliate site for a program that is going to drop that with no warning.

Yeah, their Aff management is horrible, but their products convert like OMAGOD.

Currently making more than dollar a click with them. They have a really good copywriter too.

They also moved some of their products off ClickBank because CB made some new rules for all health vendors.

I am facing same problem right now. Their links are not redirecting to product sites. and giving error like "You are not approved as affiliate". May be profitedge have very strict criteria for choosing affiliates.

I actually received that list prior to this nonsense from their AM. So it was quite easy to compilite it.
I am lately experiencing same crap with Ed Miracle program, which is approval only. I sent like 3 emails, haven't received an answer. And that's really great, cause I already have site up and running. Well, just be careful what you promote these days guys. Vendors are becoming more and more cuntish (I love this word).

Thanks for starting this thread.

I've stopped promoting products from Profit Edge. They seem to be unreasonable. Last I promoted Hair Loss Protocol and was generating good sales for them everyday for 3 months and then my review dropped to page 2 and sales dropped. For about 2 weeks I did not make any sale and they disabled my link.

BTW, I still see many affiliates promoting this vendor by cookie stuffing and then sending the visitor to the VSL or the checkout page.

I think we need to spread the word about this vendor everywhere so that affiliates don't promote them.

I never choose clickbank when I am planning to promote a product via ranking a review site. There are alot of networks out there paying good money. !!
clickbank is loosing it's charm day by day!

I can also attest to what garbage this "profit edge" is. Notice they banned me from promoting pound melter, without any notice whatsoever. F*** YOU profit edge, changed all my aff links to send my targeted traffic elsewhere, hope "profit edge" becomes "plummeted profit at bottom of cliff" soon, they deserve it!

There are a couple of bad apples on clickbank unfortunately but not all of us vendors are like that
