All I know is (I counted cards in the to pay for my college tuition for a year and I used to play poker to pay my bills for about 3 years so I do know a little about gambling) A famous poker player once offered 20-1 odds (His $1 mil against your $50,000) to anyone who could successfully pick 70% of NFL lines over 100 bets over the course of a season and no one took his money. Think about that next time you see touting services that claim ridiculous success rate.

When starting it can seem that you can get high ROI (e.g. you had 1k bankroll and with your aggressive strategy pulled some amount). We would consider it if you'd show consistent profit for at least a year following your described way, but to be fair I doubt it is achievable.

Even year is iffy. Even counting cards with advantage against the house you only have like 80-95% odds of doubling your bankroll before you go bust. Even over hundreds of decisions the end result can be pure luck one way or another. Double your bank roll. Then do it again. Then do it a third time. If you can do this successfully, maybe you have something.

Poker is good..but it takes a lof of time.
