Have like 1000 following using FL and 100 followbacks. Is that a good rate or can I do much better?

I dont get how some can gain 100-200 followers a day here, what are they doing to achieve that?

that's horrible. i get about 35-45% on completely fresh accounts and more than 60% on accounts which has 10k+ followers.

I get around 40-50% follow back....sounds like your have an un-engaging niche or targeting is off.

I too get at least 30% followbacks everyday plus around 100 people who follow me and I never followed. That's probably because of auto liker and auto commenter

following public users from big accounts?

what niche?

skincare niche. Following from accounts but not the biggest one, I picked very targeted accounts. Should I broaden my accounts to follow from?

Niche is def your problem......nobody gets excited about skin care, how exciting are skin care photos? Would you follow your own page?

Your rate is bad, everything below 25% is bad

It's probably your niche, but I don't know

The follow back rate on a page I'm running at the moment is 40% (in the luxury / motivation niche) so something is wrong there.

All kinds of niche, mostly fashion and girls. yes, i follow public and private users from account which has like 100-500k followers, not very big.

These are better followbacks for startup.
You can also get 100-200 followers per day by using social media or Instagram bots at cheap rates or free. You can use InstaRobot for getting auto followers and auto likes on your post easily.

Im getting 27% follow back and have always been around that number for over 1 year.

Dont know how people are getting 40%+, could be the niche.

I get around 45% if I follow recent users of bigger accounts, and around 28% if I follow those who liked photos of smaller account. I preffer the second method atm because with first I get bad engagement. Dogs/cat niche

10% is fairly low. Average is around 30-40% on normal niches, and of course certain niches are higher.
And the more your account is established the higher FB, some of my accounts get 75%+

Try to scrape users from a different source or maybe your account is just poorly organized.

I get around 20 %, 200 follow backs from 1000 followings. On some accounts i get 30%.Anyone care to share some exact settings ?I only scrape for users who follow other accounts, any other things we should consider? How big are the accounts you guys follow?under or over 1 million?
Thanks.

the follow back rate can't be measured by looking at how many you follow a day and how many you gain a day.

to have the concrete number of follow backs you have to follow for example 7,5k people, then unfollow those not follow you back ONLY to get the real number of follow backs.

to be a bit more specific:

follow back % = (total follows - users not following back)/(total follows) * 100 [%]

Many claim getting a follow back of 50-60%, which is very hard, unless you invested quite some time to be super targeted.

Remember that you can also gain followers from your likes and comments, although commenting limits are really strict on IG, or even your post being featured of many people's explore feed.

Many here claiming having a follow back of 60-70% have it maybe at 40-50% max. keep that in mind.

Whats weird is that my FB ratio on twitter is >25% consistently. Why such a huge difference between twitter and IG? Or is that common for everyone?

This honestly gave me a good laugh dude! And it is a really good point. But it was also quite hilarious haha!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It really depends on the niche. Sure with cute pets and sexy cars you will get higher follow-back ratios. The followers might be less active and/or less likely to buy/click something. Skincare will be a very good niche to monetize directly.

On my biggest account I also range around 10 percent follow back, which is okay I think. My followers are super targeted and engagement is around ~20 Percent.

At the end of the day you really should worry about results and not about follower counts. If you want high followers, buy some - that road is faster and cheaper. lol
Rather track how many people click through to your money site, how many of them like, and how many of them comment. That's the real stats you should care about - the rest is simply irrelevant.
That doesn't mean you should be blind to the quality of your content and the setting of your bot :P
