Follow/unfollow app that doesn't need "write privileges"?

I was following 400-500people a day with 1-3 min pauses in between and my app got banned (write privileges turned off). Are there any other good follow/unfollow tools that don't require creating a twitter application through their API?

Same thing happened to me with several accounts. I decided to write a macro with iMacros for Firefox. I've been following about 1k/day & have had no problems so far. It took me 10 minutes to write, and all I have to do is start it & specify how many I want to follow.
