Looking to lower a competitors Google ranking-- any advice?

Hi! I am wondering if it is possible to de-rank someone's website on Google search? I have heard of spam linking and similar tactics. Does anyone have experience in this field to lower the rank of a website on Google?

Yeah I have some experience.
What you need to do is tie a rope to your roof or somewhere high, the higher the better I have noticed. You can use a chair to do that. On the other side of the rope make a knot to make a "O" form and hang yourself.

My tip is to build them high quality backlinks, like 100s of them, make them from HQ domains, great metrics, then build some good backlinks to those.
That should teach them to build a better site than yours...

Pretty sure this is a topic about negative SEO, essentially. Which you shouldn't talk about here. However, think outside the box as to what would negatively effect the ranking of a site, and then run with it. I can't give you direct steps, though.

It is about negative SEO. My apologies for bringing it up. I remember reading about it before and wasn't sure if it was suitable to discuss. I'll focus on just outranking them instead of negative ranking them.

Find out how they are above your site, hidden pbn, backlinks, content and do a better job than them. Make a better site than theirs, make better backlinks than theirs and make a better pbn then theirs and make sure the content on your pbn is factually correct and informative, plus write better content on your money site than theirs!
