I'm a newb when it comes to proxies. Any advice to keep me from getting the IG ban would be greatly appreciated.

I've been growing one account for the past six months, so I've never had a need to use a proxy. I bot (FL) from my home IP address and I only login with my device id. Recently, I'm switching over my post automation to Onlypult since it will automatically take care of postings for me. Does this mean I should use a proxy through Onlypult to keep things clean? I assume so, because if I don't that means that I'll be botting from my home IP address and posting photos through a different device ID (the Onlypult phone farm).

I've grown this account to ~30K, so I don't want to do something stupid regarding proxies out of ignorance. But honestly, I just don't know much when it comes to proxies. All I know IG is very strict on proxies and it's an easy way to get banned. I've never had to worry about this before, any keen advice would be much appreciated. Should I purchase a secure proxy and then run FL, Onlypult and my phone through it? If this is what I should do, do I switch immediately all in one day, or do I need a resting period before switching?

Thanks!

No need to get a proxy if you are running less than 3 Instagram accounts from home.

If you do run more than 3 Instagram accounts, and will be creating new Instagram accounts, you can do the following:

Get a "ssl private proxy", specifically for Instagram. Make sure that you request an IP for the city/area that you are in.
After you have the proxy, use it to create a new Instagram account. Make sure you are logged in through the proxy when you create it. Also, make sure you have a valid email and phone for when Instagram makes you verify it.

Later, run FL or whichever program you prefer, with the same settings as you're doing now (seems safe) with the proxy that you used to create the Instagram account.

I hardly think you need a proxy right now. On other hand, there is no guarantee to 100% escape a ban.

Thanks for the advice. So it's safe to use these device farms that automatically post from multiple devices (Onlypult, Wisel, etc.) without a proxy? Doesn't that mean that your device id is constantly changing...wouldn't that raise red flags?
