Ok so I am 16 years old and have fucked up quite a bit recently. To keep things short some bs happened and I ended up $971 in debt with paypal. I decided to leave it and continued on with my life. Now out of nowhere my dad calls me downstairs and hands me a letter saying "confidential" I open it and it's NCO Financial claiming that my account was assigned to them and that it is mandatory to pay them back. So I have a few questions.

1. Will my parents figure out about my debt?

2. How long will they call for?

3. Will my credit report be ruined by this?

4. When will they leave me alone?

At the moment I am stressed out and can't even focus on school and studies so if someone could please clear this up for me

This same thing happened to me a LONG, LONG time ago. Close to the same amount, too.

Ignore the calls. Block the number if possible. They will call for a month or so, then stop. They may send additional letters. If you want to keep this hidden from your parents, be the one to check the mail.

Just ignore, ignore, ignore. Don't EVER assume the debt. Don't EVER respond to them.

After a few months, I never heard from them again. It never hit my credit score or report. It's been almost eight years.

Thanks dude just what I needed to know.
Anyone else have inputs?

I don't have much experience with it but I think that they won't really spend lot of time and money just to get money from you.

yeh i have an input - sherbert has tought u a valuable lesson in life that will serve u well.

if you fuck up and amass dept - dont pay it - ignore it - it will go away.
if your 900$ in debt to paypal and they sent the money back where it belongs
and the fuckup is yours, pay your debts. the lesson from this is simple,

if your man enough to addmit you fucked up - be man enough to pay your depts
personally i think sherberts advice is BS and the wrong advice to give .
sets a bad example that being scammed on bhw is wrong so we shit list.

but - if we owe money to paypal due to something we did wrong meh its
ok to scam them. what a fine vip example... NOT.

Where are you from? In Canada, if you are a minor it's against the law for a debt collector to have a file on you. Maybe it's the same thing in the us?

which also means he broke the law trading with PP

amuses me kids wanna fake out pp and use it to make money
but when they owe money they wanna walk away from it.
and vip members here say sure forget it. bad advice bad example.

Scam and ignore.. The bhw way. Just make sure you are in the right circle jerk so the higher ups will look a blind eye.

being on bwh doesnt mean scam, bhw is about bhw seo techniques
being black hat is not about , how a user creates debt then asks advice
do i pay it .....

sorry 7am been up all night playing skyforge - appologies . tired eyes

in this situation it doesnt really benifit anyone to pay it back. just learn from your mistakes and dont do it again, realize you were being an idiot and forget about it. If you have any personal income you can try to pay it back, if youre close with your parents you can talk to them about it.
take sherbert's advice.

So its not ok to scam fellow BHW members/cpa companies but its okay to scam a legit company? This is what you want to teach to a 16yr old guy being a big earner and reputable member of the forum? @Sherbert Hoover... you can just put ur JR VIP tag in you ass..

Well If I was a 16 year old I would be scared shitless for sure...but best I would suggest tell your parents about it and don't keep on debt 900 is big amount but not big enough to make dent on your credit score i don't know if they can do that...still paying would be good idea

Relax dude. If you know the right people it's perfectly okay to scam on bhw. Obviously you aren't apart of the %1.

I responded to a similar thread 6 1/2 months ago.
While being (rightfully) nosy, OP's mom is going to find the letter from Paypal, storm up to OP's room where OP is playing on his Xbox One, burst through his door like the Tasmanian Devil, and give him the biggest whooping of his life. I can only fathom how it would play out.

OP: MAMA! *SMACK* MAMA! *SMACK* NOOO! *SMACK* NOOO! *SMACK* MAMA! *SMACK*

The final shot of the action will be of the camera panning in on OP's Xbox One controller falling to the ground with muffled smacks heard in the background before the scene fades to black.

If you have an income pay for it. Tell your parents that you fucked up and you will pay them off in the future if you dont have money to do it now. If your parents are ok, you are ok and your credit score won't be hurt, then don't pay them

regardless of what others say here, it has been a pleasure to read.. well noted.
