just use 3 ads unit from Adsense on single page (two text-unit in article and one display-unit on wigets/side bar) and this the best combo.. add also some niche releted affiliate offers (like Clickbank) on few others pages and that's it.

more ads unit doesn't get you more revenue.. it just give you more pissed visitors who never return to your website anymore

I would say depending on your niche go with Adsense + amazon or clickbank rather than choosing another PPC network.

Adsense + Udemy affiliates , I used infolinks in past but experience was bad.

if informative oriented web site : adsense alone
if a product oriented web site : get rid of adsense and use affiliates networks (amazon, cb, cj ....) or CPA
otherwise : mix it

Adsense allows other ad networks, although there are some rules to follow when you place Adsense ads alongside other ad networks.

Removing ads from other ad networks is usually only advised during the Adsense application process, or more specifically the part of the process where you have to ad the ad code that displays blank ads for the first time.
