Got 2 Ebay seller warnings already.

Hello guys,

I started a new Ebay account with a PayPal account that I've been using for business for over 2 years. The Ebay account is used for selling e-cigs in the UK and I have had one warning and a 1 day suspension from selling since I opened it two months ago. There are sellers on there which have been active for months and are still selling.

I've been through the first two pages of threads on this forum but I can't find what I'm looking for. Is there anything I can do to stay under Ebay's radar and keep on selling e-cigs?

I don't sell e-cigs or even know about ebays policy in regards to e-cigs.

But my advice to you is this - try to see what the others are doing. Maybe they avoid the term " e-cigs " on their listings, maybe they posted in another category than yours and stay under the radar because of that. If it works for them there is obviously a way to do this, try to find it looking at their listings.

Great advice. Here are ebay UKs policies. Looks like you could list them as "collectibles" in some way and be able to stay active. You might have to get a little creative with your description and title.

I did list them as collectables. I listed them exactly where they have theirs and I used the same keywords and avoided any obvious ones. Instead of using the term e-cig or e-cigarette they used e shisha and e mod so this is what i did also.

I got a 3 day ban today. it all seems to be happening faster now. the first time i started selling it took a month or so to get my first listing removed but now if i put something up it's taken down in a day or two.

I'm a bit confused about stealth accounts. Do you need to set up a company in order to create one because i imagine you'd need a fresh bank account, email account, paypal account and address too?

They are listing them in german categories instead of uk ones. Mine is in collectables > shisha pipes and theirs is in tabak, feuerzeuge & pfeifen > rauchersets

How can I do this?

eBay is selective about enforcing their rules. I was selling some screwdrivers for lawnmower and car engines that were technically banned, but tons of people sell them. They don't bother the big sellers, but take your listing down if you're smaller.
