Hey guys a newbie here. Got into instagram in April last year. I researched tons of niche's and I found there was simply too much competition. I instead did something risky but I believe has potential and targeted the LGBT/Gay nice.
I now have 80,000 followers average 1k-3k likes a post and I still am not sure how to monetize.
I was originally thinking to wait until around 200k-500k followers but that could take 1-2 years.

I was just wondering if anyone would have some quick suggestions and how to go about it.
Tried fame bit before and afraid to announce im selling shout outs in case of a ban.

I just think having an audience of MALE, Western world people is a good nice to target.
Gay people have money.

Ooo, definitely a weird niche but you can create shirts using teespring and sell them.
I've seen a few simple ones with like a "rainbow" and some gay stuff on it and sold 1000+.
Get creative with it and you can also use some paid advertising to sell more if needed

I was going to try that but I wasn't sure it was the best option. I could at least try it to see.
Any other ideas do you think?
I'm just a college student so trying to secure money to build social media is what i want.

It's definitely an uncommon niche to choose, but as far as monetization goes I would recommend as well to try using teespring, it sounds like a really great idea for this niche.

Good luck with it!

Best Regards,
Jaymien.

Thanks sir. Yeh I'm feeling likely to try CPA sign ups (gay adult content) or Teespring as it seems like my best option.
Contacting people for shoutouts takes way too much time.

Thanks sir.
All the best.

There are many ways to monetize the followers. You need to learn more about your followers, then you can earn with cpa or own products. But even if you dont have any idea about your followers or If your niche is too specific, you can earn with cpc programs.

If your users are like the "bored seeking entertainment" kind of people, you could try promoting mobile games, I've heard people get good results with IG for games, but I'm not sure if they let you share links to the App Stores, if that's an option, you can contact me, I have some original games(not re skins) you could promote

Do gay people really buy stuff like that?
I have a few gay friends, but I do not think any of them would ever buy stuff like that.
They are all pretty "normal".

I would try gay CPA, however I have never done anything in adult niche at all.
