New videos getting ranked super low

So in 2015, if i was to upload a video on a fairly new channel, I would be placed with pages 2-10 (10 being the maximum page)

However now in 2016 my new videos are being ranked at page 30-31!

My video seo (title, description, tags) are all on point.

The niche is not competitive at all. Some videos on the first page have about 300 views (uploaded 2-3 weeks ago). So as you can see the niche has low competition.

My video has been uploaded for 3 days now and it is just sitting on page 30 (I think it's dropping to page 31 :/ )

The type of videos that are out ranking me have only 1 word from the keywords or none at all. And they are not channels with 100,000s of subscribers, they are new channels with no subs.

I have been getting about 25 views a day.

There is a video on the 2nd page of my niche getting around 55 views a day (uploaded a week ago with 12 subs). We have the same title and my seo is better than his. Yet im page 31 getting 25 views a day yet he is page 2 getting 50-70 views a day (his video started at approx 20 views a day like mine). How can we be 30 pages apart and get similar views?

So i'm just super confused right now

I have noticed similar stuff happening to me. I tried testing couple things but didnt figure out the problem. If anyone could enlighten us it would be great

Mh. That's odd. I get page 1 rank 4 on a high competition keyword pretty easily with some Seo and a few views. Maybe experiment a bit with social networks to build some backlinks and to get some new viewers.

Unlisted method? I don't want to unlist, makes videos in my niche easier to flag

So i'm just super confused right now

Same situation. I'm really confused aswell, my channel was created last Dec 8, 2015 but didn't get natural views even if i did unlisted and sending 20k views and 100+ likes and 9 fake comments. My competitor has new channel which is just created this month but he got a lot of views, likes and comment. The comments are from real users not the fake ones but i know he/she is buying views and likes.

Yeah, something has changed. For me it's not like ranking itself is slow, but seems like some kind of penalty hits a new video, which takes it far away to pages 20-30, but after 3-7 days, it's usually up, where it should be. Although now I'm waiting on a video that is "lost" like this for the 9th day. Even newer video I uploaded 2 days later was up after some 5 days or so.. weird, but I'm kinda used to it already, that it takes approx. a week to get up. Also it gets penalized this way when I change something in description or title, or whatever.. (and comes back the same - in a week) Only logic I see in this - it maybe serves a purpose to buffer SEO speculation. So you can't change title and description 10 times till getting results you want. Cause that's exactly what it makes me to do - be super careful about optimization.
