Just got this message on FL -

Instagram has temporarily blocked this IP/proxy. You may need to switch to a different IP/Proxy.

This occurred after my friend changed the password and then told me a few minutes later, i put the new password in, but will that be the reason for the temp ban?

Are my settings too aggressive? My settings are:

Follow Limit / 30-35
Daily Follow Limit / 600-800
Delay Follow / 30-35

Unfollow after 2 days
Unfollow limit / 20-25
Daily unfollow limit / 500-700
Delay unfollow / 25-30

Like limit / 20-25
Daily like limit / 800 - 1000
Delay like / 25 - 30

Comment Limit / 2-3
Daily comment limit / 400 - 500
Delay comment / 10 - 15

Way to aggressive. More like:

Follow Limit / 10-15
Daily Follow Limit / 450-600
Delay Follow / 60-90

In my opinion The delay is the most important and should never be under 60 sec. Same counts for unfollow. I always start off by unfollowing about 100 people and increase slowly. Also, read imristos tutorials + use search since all has been discussed a thousand times.

Hello,

I get the same message from Instagram :
Instagram has temporarily blocked this IP/proxy. You may need to switch to a different IP/Proxy.

It started happening 1 week ago. Using FL Instagram, brand new proxies (sslprivateproxy) and good vps, the error message appears at first login for a given account.
I manage hundreds of accounts, only using the liking function, and this error was not appearing in the past, it is something new.
The error happens for new accounts I try to setup in FL, at random times of the day, because during certain hours it works fine to setup new accounts.

Anyone experiencing this new issue recently?

why dont you take the IG message literally?
brand new proxies to you dont mean much.

Thank you txholdem, more details below :

The issue happens for a new account (never logged in to Instagram with FL before) using a new proxy (never used to connect to Instagram before) -> the error happens when trying to login (in FL activity log).
Wait a few hours, and suddenly the error is gone!

Thus the error is not triggered by an abusive/aggressive behavior using the proxy. We A/B tested in details, it does not come from the proxy or the vps (as we tried with different providers). The error may be from the software FL itself or Instagram's new implementation? Or another reason if someone knows more about it?

We have been using FL Instagram over a year, managing hundreds of accounts, so we are no newbies on that, it is a real persistent issue that appeared recently.

you not abusing the proxy doesnt mean nobody else does since you are sharing it with others.

It is private proxies (not shared), I am the only user of the proxy. Using sslprivateproxies

This is similar to what happens on phone and when you switch to another WIFI then it magically works.

Is the error originally triggered by an abusive usage on the phone? I guess the wifi switch is changing the ip.
Any application to the FL case?

private is not equal to not shared. private simply means that it requires login.
how do you know you are the only user? how much do you pay for the proxy?

Do you know the sslprivateproxy provider? It is about 3-4$ per proxy per month. I believe their proxies are dedicated and private, thus only used by 1 person (I might be wrong). I will ask them. What proxy provider do you recommend for FL Instagram?

i make my own proxies. so i know i AM the only one using them (and they cost me just over $1).
i am not sure if one can profit by charging $3-4 selling dedicated proxies.

nope, a private proxy normally is a proxy used by only one client at a time. it doesn't mean that it hasn't been used before.

so basically a private proxy could have been used by someone else before.

there is something like shared, private, dedicated / virgin.

for IG you should buy IG proxies from SSL.

Their site says: "Monthly Randomize" so, you can get abused ips on a monthly base?
If I were you I'd try a new proxy provider. Just to be sure.

Damn same happened to me. I figured foot prints were being left because it got 55 of my proxies banned. 3 acc./proxy. Took a chunk out of my inventory :p

Did you change anything in your settings? Any solution found so far?
