It's been 3 days that I try to use my VPN (purevpn.com) on my VPS (poweruphosting.com) and everytimes I lost the connection and need to reboot the vps cause the IP have changed.

I have tried to use noip.com, routing my IP from my PC to my VPS, even with teamviewer I lost the connection.

If someone can help me before I'm going totally crazy !

Thank you

I can't help you with the techskills, but maybe https://www.mindmup.com will help you and others to make the problem/solution visual.
Its free online mindmap tool :) Hope you get it fix'd!

Thanks for both of you for your imput. The fact is that I already use noip.com and it do not change anything... I'll try with the other dynamic DNS from the link you give me and keep you updated.

Sorry Mate, I haven't slept and didn't read the OP properly. Will get some sleep then take another look at this thread.

Tried with other dynamic DNS but it still don't work, anyone have an idea?

Thanks,

You must lose packets since connection drops. Ask your dc to add a monitor to your VPS for start

Thank you Teotech for your answer, but I really don't understand what you mean.. Can you elaborate a bit more?
Thank again,

I can totally understand your problem. As I have experienced this... even the VPN was same... purevpn...

I contacted the support, I do not exactly remember what they said... they told me that I need a dynamic DNS or something... and I will need to buy it... something like that!

anyways, they also told some other things, but nothing worked....

I think there's a problem with their vpn... coz I am using other vpn without any problem... so it's better to get a refund... and buy another vpn... like IPVanish... it works perfect with VPS...

I have contacted the hosting provider but they don't seems to understand what I want, I'll try too with the VPN provider. But like said shazzyblackhat I think there is a problem with the vpn compatibility. Thanks to everyone for your help, if I found the solution I'll post here to help future guys that face the same problem.
