Advice on FB page growth

Hello,

I currently have a clothing brand fan page, which serves to promote my own brand of clothing. I've had the page around 3 years, and it's amassed around 14,000 likes - all completely genuine.

However, even with this following the page is near enough dead. Averaging 1-3 likes per post, sometimes the highest it achieves is 12. I know this is to do with Facebook's algorithm, and the whole "You need to pay for ads to reach your own fans."

I post daily on the page, with original content, high quality and targeted. I know this isn't enough to grow a near dead page.

What I was wondering was is there anything I can actively do, within the Black Hat world, to promote my page: Botting etc.

Any advice is welcome.

Do some clothing giveaways, use gleam.io so people need to share a post, like your pages etc to enter. Worked well for my clothing business.

Thanks for the response. I built my initial following up to this point using this method, only without Gleam.io. It worked well, but that was for a page that was just starting out and could achieve visibility either.

However, the more I read on the FB algorithms, tells me that the higher fan count I have, the lower chance of visibility I have without purchasing ads. Are there any known BH methods to gain legitimate, targeted fans? I know it's probably a well kept secret, any gists or hints would help.

If you have a website put a Like Jacker on it to gain some likes. Then make a giveaway and pin it to top. It must share/like your post in order to win. After that, simply create an 50$ advertisement that targets the people who liked the page and their friends. This should do the trick and you must gain exposure. My 2.5k page gets around 5 likes on normal motivational posts and when I post girls about 20 [ Fitness Niche ]

i disagree with using likejacker for this.. and the way you're probably posting is why you dont get interaction.. unless you're brand is something the people are genuinley interested in.. when you post the ctr is probably bad.. thats why the big pages got into using click bait titles.. like jacker will just bring in random likes.. which arent fans of your brand, so most likely they wont click on your links and unlike your page.. the best way to post in my opinion is to use raw videos and photos etc.. build your brand based on cool content and then introduce your clothing line after you've developed a relationship with them.. think about.. lets say im a fan of nike.. even though i like their clothes, sneakers etc.. i probably wouldnt click links to clothes if im not trying to spend and how often are people looking to shop? Even with women you still will probably have lower clicks on links.. etc.. what nike does is push alot of cool content that makes their engagement go way up.. so when you do post a link to your stuff.. more people will see it.. but it will never really have a high ctr.. so its reach will never be what you think... is a balance.. you have to get good at posting.. and develop a internal bond with your page.. after posting for awhile.. you should be able to actually guess your reach and know what exactly they respond to

I started a page and found it difficult to grow, had to pay facebook ads whenever a post reached more likes that they normally do, this meant that was a good post. I targeted similar pages or scraped UIDs to laser target people liking similar posts from other pages.

I recommend using quotes according your niche, everybody likes quotes, just make sure you dont copy them and create a format so people start getting familiar with them.

Also download screenflow or camtasia to make videos explaining certain advances in your industry the way playground does, videos get very viral inside facebook.

Make sure to understand your audience and not only sell them stuff, the reach will go down if you post youtube videos, links to websites, just text without context and so on. Make sure to do it the right way.

Post some videos directly in your fan page, share it on some big clothing groups or in another pages if you have. Also you can share it in your profile if you have a lot of friends, this is will help to increase likes, shares and everything in the page...

Check your likes and if you have likes from india, indonesia, turkey, syria and other countries like that, delete them unless they are your target audience. Fake likes can hurt your engagement on 1000%

Thanks Eternal, I've been weeding out faceless and seemingly inactive profiles, seeing if I can boost my engagement ratio. I've also began targeting content based on whether something is relatable or trending, rather than directly showcasing products. I've found the best way to keep your page active is to queue posts natively on Facebook, or using a mobile app like Buffer / Pages. Still welcoming any other advice on how to laser-target users without paying for ads. I know the chances are slim.
