Actually fb doesn't mind if you tell people to like the status, you can't tell them to share it. Instead all you need to do is ASK people to share it. Most will assume that they have to share it to enter the giveaway.

My host gives me unlimited bandwidth. So I assume any host that gives unlimited bandwidth is good enough to handle that amount of traffic.

Real giveaways is the better option. People like free things and that is the reason they will also participate in any giveaway competition including car giveaways. people don't mind participating since they already know that there is a big chance they may not win the expensive giveaway...just like you know their is a big chance you may not win a lottery.

The OP just boosted the post with 5$ on FB ads. But be creative you can share it on groups, pages, your wall or share it on other places on the Internet. Keep in mind you only have to get the first shares and then the post should go viral.
