Can I use different SEO keywords.

I'm actually not having a specific question about local SEO, but I don't know where to post elsewhere.

I am redesigning the website of my company, but I'm not sure what I should do with keywords.

My website is so that I can only rank for one keyword otherwise I think people will be confused, but I like to use more keywords.

Should I just keep one keyword and do other keywords with blogs.
Use different keywords at a page
Or different keywords at different pages, but I'm afraid that will confuse people..

Usually its easier to rank for a single keyword, since you include it in the page title and so on.

Usually the approach is to write single articles for the keywords with the higher search volume. And just include in your articles the keywords with lower search volume.

For example if you have the keyword "blue widgets" monthly searches 2000, but u also have "cool blue widgets" monthly searches: 200, and "blue widgets for kids" 1000 monthly searches.

A good approach should be to write 2 articles, one for "blue widgets" and one for "blue widgets for kids" but you can interlink these articles if they are relevant.

Regarding the keyword "cool blue widgets" you can include it as a H1 or H2 on your "blue widgets" article.

This should work if "cool blue widgets" has less competition than "blue widgets"

Do on page seo on your website first before anything, it is a must since it helps your company present itself in a professional manner and it will also help you with indexing and seo of course. It is like the foundation of your online presence. Content is also extremely important so make sure you have high quality content. And why can't you target more than one keyword? If you business is offering multiple services I don't see why not.

Choose one strong and unique keyword and use that keyword in title, domain name, page name, headings, content, blogs, articles etc.. It will help in ranking your website high on search engines.
