Exactly. And to my knowledge there is no single product on the market which does download the captions too. After weeks of searching I found Facepager which can connect to any API and download for example the media ID + description of a user feed but unfortunately it can't download pictures.
To have those two features(picture download + image caption download) in one program would be amazing.
The results saved in a .csv File like: "Caption","Image Location"

Yes, if you chose the "scrape by hashtags" mode, then it will only scrape top posts per hashtag. If you chose the "scrape from users" mode then it will scrape all the posts.

Remember that, hashtag scraper feature can be useful for you since it scrapes related hashtags from instagram. Sometimes it can even scrape 50+ related hashtags to your hashtag.

Only when scraping from hashtags. When Scraping from an account all is fine!

If you could add that videos aren't downloaded, that would be great.

Little clarification:
If account has a video on it's feed, this downloader downloads the preview image, not video.
I wouldn't need to download videos at all.
