Hey Ste!
I reviewed a KW someone else bought and asked me to take a look at in PM. I do not want to blast that person or reveal any information. It was good quality. I hope this did not come of as me gunning for a promotion as I have suggested your service a lot after looking at your KW.
For the good of the forum (And to those messaging me) I referred them to you after reviewing something you provided to someone else.
No, I have not personally purchased your KWs but after seeing two (You posted one and I was PMed at least one) I feel confident that when I need KWs I will use your service.
I do not consider a KW you provided to a newbie and I reviewed for the person as me giving you a hand job. I consider an unbiased third party reviewing your KW to assure the person who received it actually had a low competition KW.
To clarify again:
1. User messaged me about reviewing a KW they purchased
2. I reviewed the KW. (Top ten back link profile and if they used the KW, top 50 back link profile, etc)
3. I confirmed it was a good KW.
4. I then suggest others to use your service because I reviewed a KW someone else received. I can trust I did not receive a special review copy or KW, I can confirm I looked at a KW you would have sold to anyone and trust it is of good quality.
The only reason I said it may not be no comp is because my opinion on the KW I reviewed was that due to semantic algo other related KWs were ranking, while the specific KW was not used in the top ten sites. That was a gut decision and me being perfectly honest with who messaged me and to the forum.
This is all my opinion from looking at two of your KWs, one you shared and the other sent to me to review. This is not me giving you a hand job. I have nothing to gain from being nice to you. This is my honest analysis of your KWs.
As for Jared and me being on his side, I spent a lot of money with him over a month ago. Before any promotion was considered.
This thread is me trying to help others make money with Amazon and me suggesting the three best based on KWs I have seen.
To clarify, again, I did review a KW you provided a third party. I trusted there honest. You may consider that a problem. I consider it a reason I would do business with you. You did not provide me a special review copy. You provided a newbie a KW and they had no idea what a zero comp KW was or a low comp KW. I reviewed the KW. I went deep in SERPs and looked for hidden PBNs. I found nothing to indicate strong link building. I have done more work with Jared (Which can all be verified, again, before any competition) and due to no fear of a semantic relation between KWs my personal opinion is his are better. I did plan on using your service when I needed KWs.
Lastly, I personally considered your KWs of excellent quality and because I reviewed your KWs from an unbiased source I was confident in my analysis of them and I could trust you to sell me KWs when I needed them.
This may not be kosher to everyone. I get that. I also assume I will not receive any promotion because of how this was brought up. But me saying your KWs were high quality was my honest analysis. No matter what you think or how you treat me. I would have continued to suggest your service because I have reviewed your KWs and I know the competition of what I looked at. You may not like that. If a newbie is asking me for the best KW providers I provide the same information I do here as I do in PM.
The part you put in read is me being completely honest. I did plan on using you when I was done with the KWs I got from Jared. Again, me being honest.
Do I expect the person I helped in private to say, 'hey it was me!' or Jared to post 'yup, he bough X,XXX worth of KWs!' No. I do not have friends like that on BHW. If I did, I would not ask them to post there business in public the way I do mine.
Let the firing squad commence!
@Everyone else, I will get to your questions shortly, I promise!
EDIT:
I just re - read the OP. I never said Jareds were better. I used numbers over bullets but that is just posting style. I am sorry if you thought I was referring to your service in another way or am in some way saying one is better than another as that is not what I wrote.
EDIT:
Nevermind, I found one of the several people I have helped! I PM'ed Ste the information I had to verify I had seen and reviewed his KW.
It is all good, if anyone wants to believe me. I will stop suggesting Ste's service to others despite the fact I have reviewed his KWs. I never bought as I have no need to currently. But it is what it is.
I completely understand that feelings were hurt. I was only speaking from my experience but from here on out will not open my mouth (Or type any words) to a service I personally have never bought or personally received a review copy for. So this includes:
1. Services my VAs use (Proxies, tools, etc)
2. KWs or sites I review for other people (Such as sites people buy on BHW and ask my opinion of)
3. Advocating the services of people I trust based on previous work (For example, I use a lot of Rankspires products but have not used his Press Release service, so I will not suggest or comment on it because I have had a lot of good business with the seller).
In my opinion this clears up any confusion and going forward should be good for everyone. I was advocating services on what I have seen, what I have purchased and what I have experienced but from here on out, no more. Unless I personally received a specific service from a seller I will butt out.
We should all be good now. Ste, I PM'ed you the information I could recover. Sadly that is all I had easily available to me. You do not need to believe me or reply. Thank you for your concern of the forum, more people should be like you in that regard.
EDIT:
Now to everyone's questions:
"How do you deal with keyword density on dynamic homepage of amazon authority site? Let' say your site is about Widgets, then most probably all of your posts titles would include this keyword, making homepage kw density way too high. Any thoughts on this? And thanks for the guide!"
I hate that example. If my site is about Widgets my posts will be about brands of widgets. Automobiles are a better example. KW density may be high but it should not be.
"A big thank you for answering those questions. They were incredibly specific. These are things that you learn by experience and I want to really thank you for give me this valuable information. It is amazing how you find time to contribute so much to the community despite have so many personal projects to work on.
It seems like my lucky day, So, I thought I wanna try with a few more specific questions.
1. What about Social signals? Do you order or not? When do you order? Drip feed or blast? Only to pages you are trying to rank or homepage or inner page? Can you recommend the cheapest option for this
2. Can you expand a little on your PBN setup? Leith gave some golden nuggets for PBN in his thread. Do you follow something similar? What is the cost breakdown of your PBN? Are these niche specific and do you put multiple posts and backlink to multiple pages or only one.
3. For one of my sites which was dormant for a year, I did backlinks for it from a variety of sources to the homepage to give a nice variety. Stuff like web 2.0s' Q and A , infographics, profiles, audiosharing.. etc etc. Now, I have started building web 2.0s and PBN posts to my inner target pages. a) Should I keep continuing making links for the home page when I am building links for the inner pages? b) Considering this site as a long term project, what should be my strategy to build 2nd tier links to the PBN posts and Web .20's"
I honestly use Fiverr for social signals. I do not care if they look natural or are a blast. I know of no better option for this on or off BHW so I stick with Fiverr.
I did a thread on how I do PBNs. To recap I find the best domain possible, put up a bunch of niche specific content and then link to my money site once. I then keep a record to avoid footprints and if I can link to another project I will.
I am not qualified to answer the third question really. I continue to do Press Releases on my sites that are long term so I always have some links to home page coming in.
Tier two for a long term site should be cheaper PBN posts, aged Web 2.0 posts, and well built Web 2.0s. This is what I do and I have not had an issue with my long term sites.
"Do you set up a table for every "best (product)" keyword?
Reason why I asked because I have a site reaching 500 pages and each post reviews 3 products with a PROS/CONS on each of them.
-Amazon links are placed in the title of the products I'm reviewing
-CTA link
That's it, no table."
I use a table and include product information and user reviews, not a review. The table is just to show the amazon start review, number of review, and get my link near the top of the content.
