Anyone know exactly what a cpa companies tracking system looks at when deciding if a lead is legitimate or not?? I mean if you use several different ips through a dial up service and then use real names and real email addresses....how would they know that it's you??? Only thing i can think of is Mac address...but I don't think they have access..do they?? Thanks, j21primetime

They have metrics for all sorts of crap. People seem to use geoip a lot now. Mac addresses aren't routed. You only see those in a lan.

One thing they might look at is lead quality.
Let's say that the offer is to sign up for some free website... It would like pretty suspicious if someone sent them thousands of leads, all from different ip's and with valid infos, but none of these "leads" ever logged back in to the website, or opened their newsletter in their email, etc.

Nah...I'm not talking lead quality...all of that is understood...it's about what cpa networks look for when someone fills out an offer initially in determining wether an affiliate will get credit or not!! I want to know what metrics they are using so I can circumvent them!!! If I were to fill out an offer under a different Ip and use a totally legit name and email (not my own of course) how could they detect that it's me?? If i send shitloads of quality leads and then mix in a few semi quality leads....(remember I will be using real email addresses so these will be real people) then I could fatten my wallet without much risk! thanks, j21

Yes, that will work. You will always get the credit as long as the offer requirements are met, if it is found to be a fraudulent lead, it will be taken off and your account could get deleted and payment revoked. My question would be, if you are already sending shitloads of quality leads.....why bother sending a few "semi quality" leads? (although i dont know what exactly shitloads of leads are to you)
