Hello guys. I have a page with 135k followers. Very active. I gain around 1k followers a day by just posting around 8 images. It wasn't like that before I was doing follow/unfollow manually until I've reached 100k. Believe it or not, this is the magical number. Okay.... so here's my question:
Have you tested to post more than 30 hashtags on your image using different accounts with no foot prints leading to your main account ? Now I can tell you that hashtags are actually not really important before you can get to top hashtags, their real power is after you start to appear on top post of popular hashtags. So maybe my question is addressed to people with big pages who can get to top hashtag positions. I'm kinda afraid to test and add like 500 hashtags to my main account post, so I am asking if someone had the balls and tested this before.

it doesnt work because hashtags only matter/can be found via search if the person who posted the image/video put it in the caption or comment.

So you are saying if anyone different than the one who posted the image add hashtag in the comment it won't count ? :O

It does work. I've had people add hashtags to my pictures and I've seen them popup under that tag. But this is only like 1 or 2 hashtags per comment.

it is not that a 3rd person's tags don't count.
it is the TIMING factor. if a tag is not added somewhere within 30 minutes of the post going live, it doesnt count.

i think a point of op is to bypass the 30-tag limit. and i cant see why not. then again you dont know how IG is coded.

Exactly my point! Now this is something that make sense, not a "period" crap. I guess I have to test and see what will happen. Need to prepare everything very carefully than.
