General question, what's the "normal" engagement with likes? I mean...for, let' say...1000 followers, are there any % ratio to say ok this is good or bad. I'm having just 7% aprox and comparing it to my private account, where I'm between 15 and 20%...it looks bad, but on the other hand when I see biggest pages closely to my niche they have more or less 4 or 5%.

No proxy, just at home with my laptop + my phone...
Botting until I can growth organically, until then....yes, I'm afraid to lose what I'm building.
Btw, is this something the algos just detect one day if you are using it in this right moment or IG can detect if you used someday a bot?
+241 followers today, quite low than the +- expected but in the middle of the day I realized that I have to start unfollowing so during the next 3 days I will be +-0 followers (in the positive side the organic growth and in the negative one the unfollows leading unfollowers).

Advice from a newbie? Just read here. try to post during the best hours, using some top hashtags as well as a few without saturation but closely with your niche, interact with your followers, follow people from other niches as yours, ... just try and adapt.

Planning on some monetization forms in the next few months when my account (hope so) will be at >50k.
Created 3 more accounts just in order to have the account name available, so realized that maybe I have to switch to FL soon.
Does anybody know with new IG TOS (5 accounts, right?) if it will be necessary to go trhough a proxy? Or if I just have 5 I'm safe with same IP?

So I guess it's good to be "in positive" numbers. Tomorrow second and last day unfollowing and during the weekend the account will be ready for a shoutout.

02/12 second day unfollowing, +5 new followers and got a temp ban. (unable to unfollow during +-24h)
02/13 +41, lost more or less 20 by unfollows and got +-60 because of a shoutout from a 200k followers and again temp ban (ok...I have to be safer).
02/14 +654 Ok here things changed. Second shoutout from other 200k account which gave me more or less the same, maybe a little higher +-80-90 followers and again other shoutout (I ordered 2 packages from 2 different accounts with 2 shoutouts each one, total 4, one of those yesterday, 2 today and the last one will be tomorrow) which gave me the same results as the first one, +-50.
Then things changed. I'll explain:
First shouout: 200k, +-50f
2nd: 200k, +-80-90f
3rd: 450k, +-400f
During the 2nd one, I post a pic where my likes literally get multiplied. Exactly +900% than my likes average which result in appearing in top hashtags and more followers not coming directly from the shoutout account. To be clear, my average was 250-300 likes and this pic got (is getting) 2546 at this moment and the previous one posted before the shoutout is getting 1083 likes and also featured in top hashtags. Also previous one, first in the morning, at 1000 likes too.)
Let's see how the last one will work tomorrow (I'm expecting just +-50f like the first one).
Week 3: From 2787 to 4436 + with 2 temp bans. +1649f
Week 4 goal: Be safer and get +1.5k

Instagram adapts tag page outlook to every account. You should not check if your post is in "top posts" from your mobile running the account. Always do this via https://instagram.com/explore/tags/TAGNAME. There you get unbiased view.

I think it's not against it but of course when you are trying to push harder then sh*t happens. Period.
I guess follow/unf amount depends on age nd other things but take into account that I unfollowed 3500 in less than 2 days. 1700 first one, no problem, and then just 12 or 14 hours for the other 1800. This is too much. I was in the 1000 range without any problem, but I double it.
Note: Account with just 2 weeks and something. My personal account has almost 4 years and I can go harder if I want but not with a new one...
