Hi all

So, I got back to affiliate marketing after a while (back in 2008 sales were easy). I need some help with the marketing part of my website.

What I've done so far is this:

-Got a health related domain, set up a website with wordpress.
-Created a 'store' with health products (from shareasale).
-Rewriting the products descriptions so that my content is unique
-Created a facebook page that is updated with every new products on the website
-Pinterest (same as facebook)
-Social sharing
-Getting links here and there

What I used to do is create tons of articles on Ezine and few other article sites and link to my website but article marketing doesn't work anymore.

I just don't know what can be my next move.. please help?

Anyone... ?

Thought I'd update how things are going so far. I have just allowed search engines to crawl the website. Waiting to be indexed.

I've cloaked all affiliate links and have external nofollow.

How about targeted traffic and added value for them? Rewrited product's descriptions won't help. Write "smart-ass" content for each product, 400+ words, with custom made photos, tell people why they should (or even better - why they should not), create a "kick-ass" titles for the articles and share them via Pinterest. Wait for repins and other mentions.

Not bad ideas, but the custom made photos, where can I get them from? As an affiliate I won't be buying each product and take pictures of them... Thanks for replying :)

An edited screenshot with Paint is a custom made photo and also unique (in a BOT point of view). Make sure to use ALT text and good file name

Next step to scale it up would be start doing some PPC media buying on FB and Google!

you could do product reviews, make them unique.
i wouldn't go in for the hard sell, build trust over time - people hate hard selling especially if they are looking for info.
